Key pouch
Got this to hide a key on my motorcycle…just in case my usual key goes missing. Didn’t want to be keyless and his stuck somewhere. This pouch is easy to hide and mount plus it holds the key securely. Fully recommended for this purpose.

Everyone should use this
I find these to be of good quality. I have used them for years as I am a sr citizen and live alone. I have mentioned the use of these to several people throughout my life especially when they can't find theirkeys and are upset. Most look at me like I am a lunatic but ask yourself what will happen if you are alone and away from your comfort zone and loose or misplace your keys? In a cold winter or a dangerous part of town not having used this item could be very costly or fatal. I get one on the first day when I change cars.Yes, a car theif could find this and steal your car..... but what are the odds? I have never heard of a person taking the time to feel around under a car to steal it. My cars are used so maybe if I had a megaexpensive new car I might now take this chance,

Best option out there
We've had this under the back bumper of a car for over a year, replacing a magnetic type that was always a struggle to find a good location. I like that the pouch is big enough for any type of car key, has very strong velcro, and its companion fabric strip sticks really well to any flat surface. After installing it I felt confident that it would hold in place no matter what, but took someone else's advice and put in three junk keys and drove around for a week just to be sure. Now I check it every 4 months or so, but after two New England winters and plenty of jostling, I don't worry at all, and I'm about to get two more for our other cars. In the photo you'll notice I put a small triangle of white duct tape on it to make it easier to see when peering underneath the car - completely optional, but it does make it easier to spot.

Good product. Works as expected.
You need a little patience installing it. First, the bolts used from the unit to the car must line up with the ones used to bolt the license plate to the unit, and this makes it a little tight to get wrenches/sockets where they need to be. Also, it would be nice if the "open" position (license plate hinged upward) would have a "stop" position, where the plate would hold itself up. These two issues make it a little tricky to install, but if you are persistent, it will go together just fine. I chose to use a very thin weather stripping foam with a self-adhesive inside the key compartment, to keep the key from rattling around. I also put a small piece of this foam between the unit and the license plate, to keep the plate from rattling when the car hits bumps. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied with the product and the idea. If it works well with the one car, I'll be installing on all of my cars.

Simple and effective
I used this key hider pouch to keep a key on my bike for my bike lock. Since my bike lock is a key style lock I have to remember to bring my key and I don't always carry the same pack. This was easy to stick under the saddle and the key stows nicely away. Now I always have it with me when I'm riding. Of course I take the key with me after locking it up. The pouch came with everything necessary to mount it and it worked great with a medium sized key.

Way better than magnetic
This product is a sleeper because I don't think many people know exactly what it is. The magnetic Hide-A-Key has been around a long time and certainly has enjoyed success. But as more and more parts of our vehicles are made of plastic, it has become hard - at least on some vehicles - to find a place which is convenient, within reach, and has a metal surface. This product is not magnetic, and attaches to ANY clean surface via its peel-and-stick adhesive. It consists of two parts: A flat strip of nylon material with strong adhesive on one side, and Velcro on the other. You attach the adhesive side of this nylon piece to any clean surface, wherever you want. The other part of this product is a pouch with Velcro on one side, and a fold-over flap closure (with Velcro to hold it closed) on the other. Just place your spare key(s) in the pouch, and attach the Velcro side of the pouch to the Velcro on the nylon strip you attached. Thus you can now remove only the pouch with your key(s) when you need them, then reattach the pouch using the Velcro. When you push the Velcro pieces together, the bond is strong, and your car's vibration (I'm told) actually increases the bond. To summarize - this has the same remove-and-reattach advantages as a magnet, but you can mount it pretty much wherever you want. One more tip: IF you want to make this less visible to a service person working under your car, color over the icon of the key using a black Sharpie marker. It then becomes less noticeable - just remember where you placed it.

Everybody should have one of these
I've been using these for years now, and they are a lifesaver. I've typically hid them behind license plates, but they can go in a number of different places on your car. Can't say enough good about them.

Prefect
Strong adhesive, good size, confident in Velcro.I had one of these for years in my car. Saved my Bacon more then once when I locked my key in the car. Just purchased again for new car. Similar quality. I expect to be just as happy with this as I was the previous one.
