Samsung 75-inch RU7100 HDR Smart 4K TV [Energy Class A+]

I bought this 75" Samsung LED TV after moving the previous 55" Samsung QLED into the home office. It cost around the same as the 55" one did a couple of years ago. For normal television viewing its larger size makes for much better viewing in our room, though its fractionally less bright. Watching HD channels is just as good but I haven't yet seen enough UHD content to make a judgement. The remote is an IR device, not the metal remote that comes with the QLED, and there are fewer fancy features, eg less HDMI and USB ports. However I've got it to do everything the QLED does apart from recording to a USB drive. It integrates well into our home network, eg control from a Samsung phone, switching on or off with google home, viewing photos from a server. It costs a few hundred pounds less than a 75" QLED - maybe I'm a cheapskate but it looks great and does the job for me.

I wanted to order from crampton and Moore as they have proper shops and are not just online. And they done me proud. Delivered on the promised day. TV is unbelievable for the price. 720p upwards looks lovely. 4k is stunning. But what sets this TV apart from the rest for me is the 10-11 ms input lag in game mode. That's very fast it's like gaming on a proper moniter. Alot of people say 75inch is to big. I say get the biggest TV your space and budget allows. The extra little details you can spot in movies and TV shows are fantastic.There is also a full calibration video on you tube that I calibrated it to. And it looks just stunning. And auto game mode is a deal breaker. No need to keep switching modes with the control.Love it.

My word - this much TV for under £1,000 is stunning. I do like a Samsung - not sure why other reviews moan about adverts as this is my second Samsung and i don't see any at all. Perhaps i am missing the point. What i do see is a very easy set up, amazing picture, fabulous apps and even switches on with Alexa. We don't watch much terrestial tv anymore - mainly Netflix, Sky Cinema and loads of sport. We sometimes display photos from our mobile phones on screen and also sometimes mirror our Macs. All of this is seamless. Honestly for someone who isn't massively tech savvy this TV has been such a great buy - very much plug and play and its huge screen with perfect picture is an absolute joy.

Got the monster Samsung 75" but i am a little disappointed with the quality of the picture watching live HD sports, it does not have the pristine sharpness I'd expect and previously saw on my Finlux 50" full HD. Close up action is good but the panoramic view lacks a little clarity, I see a slight blur, or glare even, on white shirts. To give some context I am sitting 2.9 metres from the screen which is probably a bit too close (but as far back as I can). When watching the studio punditry I find it bit of a strain with all the bright coloured panels they deck out the Sky studio, is a bit hazy on this big beast of a screen for me.Also watched a movie on Prime and it seemed to struggle on dark scenes with the contrast changing automatically in the darkish same scene.Sound is good on the TV which was a nice surprise, and the legs are sturdy enough.These are my initial thoughts after purchasing few days back. Maybe I'll find some magic setting to resolve these teething problems although I found no difference switching it to game mode when viewing said sports.

We love sitting at the front at the cinema so we wanted a very large TV, this one is great ! ( 75inch)Our sofa is about 2 .5 m from tv and we find it perfect. Quality of Picture is fantastic ,It was very well packaged and so arrived with no damage at all .I have 4 stars for product as the feet are a little flimsy, I would have preferred a more sturdy design . But would still recommend highly this product, excellent value too .

I’d originally set out to buy an LG tv but was let down but the seller during Black Friday week sale. So was worried that I would have to wait another year. But after coming across this fantastic Samsung tv that was better priced and quicker delivery we made the decision to go with it.Best decision we have made in our tv purchases over the years.So easy to set up and use.10/10 all day long.

For £800, it’s great, but it’s not OLED or QLED. So if looking for outstanding picture quality don’t buy this. However, if the fun is in the big screen, and who needs Bambi in OLED, this is a great telly.

It’s a brilliant TV happy with it. Although it would have been even better if the HDMI points were located both sides of the tv rather than all in one side. Apart from that it’s a very good tv. Delivery also happened twice quicker than expected. Which is good.
