excellent protection and use, holster a littel clunky because of size of passport

Really tight at first but works perfect now.

Bought this a week a go when I bought the Passport AT&T version. I think the quality of the case/holster is a goof value for 25 dollars.The case itself is soft bendable (rubbery feel) with ridges that are indented on the side fits the passport snugly, it has a lip around the device so if you lay it flat screen down the screen and keyboard don't touch the surface it's laying on. ( the same with the camera). The case does not feel thick nor slim somewhere in the middle.Also the back of the case has a brushed feel. The holster itself is hard plastic and is sturdy with a suede feel on the inside, the quality is good.ONE thing I will note is that the holster itself it's a tight fit for the passport it takes EFFORT to pull the phone out of the holster and so and so to put it in the holster. So be warned it's cubbersome to pull the case out once it's in and I am afraid that with that tight of a fit it can damage the case itself with wear and tear.I myself do not use the holster just the case.( not a holster type of guy)I Would rate this case a 4. And the holster 3 just cause it takes effort to take the case out of it.This is the only case I see availble when i bought a week ago, Seido also jsut released a case for the att passport might buy that one.

I needed one of this immediately so I bought one from the AT&T store. If you Passport owners want a truly well fitting, great looking and super protective cover, get this one. If you don't want the holster toss it. The holster is NOT needed to use the GEL CASE. This is a MUST buy for all Passport owners.

Although other cases may say they are fit for the Blackberry Passport, (some even claim to be made for the ATT model Passport), this case is the only case that will fit. After Blackberry released the Passport, ATT required a redesigned exterior prior to carrying the device. Hence the rounded, (and much better), corners. This needed change was supported in the US market, however, Blackberry's major markets are in Canada and Europe. Therefore the ATT version Passport has not been well supported for accessories.This Body Glove case appears to be the only case that will fit the ATT Passport - with some minor flaws.The Passport's unique design solicits attention from those noticing it. A suspicious nondescript item on the belt, such as a black square "thing," will garner more attention. Body Glove's choice to obscure the Blackberry logo on the back of the Passport succeeds in making the device a square suspicious thing on the belt. Displaying the Blackberry logo through a custom cutout would have been the better choice for a case design that will only mount in the belt clip with the back displayed.A big design flaw for this item is its lack of a LED notification window. The beauty of the Blackberry Passport is its ability to notify the user of incoming messages via visual LED alerts. These alerts can be color coded for specific accounts and contacts. When stored in the belt clip the LED alert is completely covered. When performing a task that may mask the vibrate mode, the user will be unaware of the alert. If a user can mark where the LED rests against the belt clip, a small hole can be drilled through the belt clip to expose the LED. A simple fix that Body Glove should have incorporated.

This is pretty much the only case for the att passport that works. I tried about three of the other ones that clip over the edges and they broke after a few days and were hard as hell to slide inside the holster. This one looks good and protects the phone and fits very well.
