Purchased as a replacement for original instant ink cartridges. Printer = hp officejet 3830. Could not get the printer to recognize the black cartridge. Returning.

So I don't know what I am doing wrong but I have tried everything possible to be able to use this ink cartridge. I have installed, uninstalled, updated, every possible troubleshooting and it will not print. So I just gave up. I did use it so I cannot return it. Money lost for sure.

My printer is stating there is an error with the cartridge. Uggg....sooooo frustrating! I've already thrown the package away and don't even feel like going to the trouble of sending anything back! I've just learned my lesson NOT to use this company again nor use refillable cartridges!!

So, I am just now installing the cartridges and the black does not work. I am not sure why but my printer is giving me an error and will not proceed even though it fits and matches the old cartridge to a tee. I am out of my window for replacement but, if I can be sent a new one that would be nice.

UPDATE:Seller resolved!***i initially said “Do not buy” (keep reading why) but Seller immediately responded to my request for help and offered a fair solution. I’m going to increase my review to 3/5 because stuff happens and the seller was very gracious. I’ll add another star if the solution works***I bought a color and b/w combo pack and the black cartridge did not work. I followed all instructions and troubleshooting and still does not work. Like most people, I purchased it as a backup for when my current ink ran out. So, I was past the return date when I realized it was defective.I’ve reached out to the seller to see if they’re willing to do anything to resolve.I gave it one star because I received the order quickly. If I hear back from the seller, I’ll update this review.

The seller said this product was compatible with my printer. I installed the ink and my printer would not accept it and it did not print. I threw the ink in the trash and will not ever buy from this seller again.

These cartridges did not work with our HP printer. We tried several work arounds described on YouTube and elsewhere and nothing worked. Took too much time, so decided to return them.

I've bought this ink 3 times and the first two times it worked great. The third time my printer wouldnt recognize the ink cartridges so I asked for a replacement around 5PM that day and it came the next morning! Which was great cause it's finals week so I needed ink ASAP. I just have to return the defective ones to UPS within 10 days. I'm so happy this is quality ink at a reasonable price cause as a student I can't afford the regular price.
