FITS 1991 FIREBIRD 305 TBI (5.0 V8) and WORKS
The LXE9 fits perfectly and works perfectly on a 1991 Pontiac Firebird with a 305 TBI (5.0 V8). I got this part because my car was surging and bogging out. Tried this first but I was still having my issue, which ended up being my 185 thermostat and the fact its 31 degrees out here, just had to wait until my car was fully warmed up to realize it runs perfectly fine. After it warmed up I still had this part plugged in and everything was working as it should. Story for the back story hope this helps! Pics included as proof this is fact the ESC you need for a 91 turdbird

Failed at 25 months
Worked great at first, and time to get my smog check it fails, throws an error 43, replaced with another new one and problem went away. Forget the warranty Amazon tells me to call SMP, and SMP tells me Amazon will provide warranty support. But how? There is no product support button.
