Fresh, soft, chewy peanut butter taffy
These are the same tasty taffies of many years ago. I have enjoyed them and will reorder.

Good but not the same
These are not the same as they were years ago. Good but not as good as the old ones. My dentist loves them though... they cost me a crown. :)

Very Overpriced
I would suggest you take a close look at the quantity you get in the package before spending this much money on it. I would not have bought them if I realized the relatively small quantity for the price. Otherwise, they tasted fine and the individual wrappers weren't stuck on the candy. They unwrapped easily.

Vendor Is AOK - BUT ... This Is NOT The Old Fashioned Mary Jane - Not The Same & Is A Disappointment
The 5 Star rating is so as not to damage the reputation of the vendor/distributor who performed well. However, the actual Mary Jane candy that we all knew and grew up with is NOT this one. This newly modified abberation is totally different. It is 1/2 the size, is cylindrical in shape and NOT rectangular and is missing the peanut butter. It is a total disappointment. This is NOT the "retro" candy. The taste is vapid, the chew is not worth the effort and there is no satisfaction. I guess the Mary Jane company hired a new Vice-President who just had to make changes to a successful product in order to justify his pay. Mary Janes are now just a memory. The Mary Jane company has lost its way and has taken a downward turn for the worse. You can buy Bit-O-Honey candies and be much better off. I hate these new Mary Janes. Yes - hate is the word.

Doesn’t really taste like a Mary Jane candy
The candy has a chemical after taste. It was bad enough that I threw away the entire bag after eating two pieces. Item was fresh and just the correct hardness. I felt it is a poor value for the money.

Sad that they were not the size shown - these were quite small
I was happy when they arrived, but they were NOT as advertised. It was as if someone took3/4 of each piece and rolled the remaining 1/4th into a tiny roll!

NOT the Mary Jane of yesteryear
The product received has ZERO peanut pieces in it and they're NOT the Mary Jane candy of yesteryear that we all know and love. Mary Jane candies were rectangular in shape and wrapped in the envelope like packaing for each piece. These are more along the lines of peanut butter flavored taffy and packaged like tootsie rolls. They should not be called Mary Jane unless they're the real deal.
