Titan X / Gtx 980 / Gtx 970
I decided to spoil myself for my birthday and even though I already had a GeForce 980 GTX 4GB , I went ahead and purchased the non superclocked version of this card and I must say the difference was noticeable.I wasn't sure if I would be able to tell but to my benefit I could surely see a difference so that deffinately made me feel better about dropping that much money on a card when I already had a great card to begin with. I can't say it was a "huge" difference but better is better right?I have been playing the alpha early access of ARK: Survival Evolved and with all settings maxed out the games graphics seemed to be a bit smoother than with the 980, again though the 980 did run it with the same settings just fine. I forgot to check my fps before I swapped cards but with the Titan X I am now getting 70 - 100 fps with everything maxed out and the game is not even optimized correctly yet because it's still in alpha phase.I went ahead and gave my 980 to my father since there was nothing wrong with it at all. If you want a card close to the Titan X but cannot afford it or just don't want to spend that much for whatever reason than go with the 980, if the 980 is still out of your price range then your best buy for your money would be the 970. I put the 970 in a rig I bought and built for a friend and he was also able to run ARK on maxed out settings and never complained once about performance (other than server lag but this is not an issue with the cards, it's simply alpha issues). If you want the best and have some money to spare then go with the Titan X and games will just feel like a hot knife through butter, just super smooth like it's not even trying at all.If any of you know about ARK and have played in the past or haven't yet, you should deffinately check it out with all the new changes. I used that game in my review because of the type of how graphically intense it is and with the giant open world with crazy amount of destructibles, huge extremely well rendered dinosaurs roaming around, all the player built housing and such you would understand how graphically intense the game is so getting those kind of frame rates with maxed out settings at 1920x1080 resolution, (I am using a 65in Samsung HDTV in HDMI not a pure pc monitor) as well as the game isn't even fully optimized yet, you would see that this card will be in your case for a very long time to come.Right now I am waiting for EVGA to notify me when they have more of the DIY waterblock kits for the Titan X and I will purchase one of those and a backplate (there is no backplate on the Titan X which is fine because it's just for asthetics). After I install the waterblock I will consider cautiously messing with some overclocking, but straight out of the box the card installed perfectly with no issues and ran a 3dMark11 benchmark smooth as silk (forgot my score), and again ARK was gorgeous and slightly smoother than the 980 and obviously more so than the 970. The card also added some new lighting effects inside my case if your into that sort of thing, I wish it was red to match the rest of my lighting but it doesn't look bad at all and I don't believe the 980 or 970 have that asthetic lighting if I remember. Oh also the card uses a different pin than the 980/970, it has a 6-pin and a 9-pi (comes with adapter for 6-pin to 9-pin if your PS doesn't have a 9-pin. I didn't feel like adding a 9-pin to my PS so I just used the adapter since I had 2 spare 6-pin tucked away within reach.Lastly I noticed my PC was either just as quiet or slightly quieter than with the 980, at least it seemed so. It may be just the fact that the card is not being pushed as hard as my 980 so the fans may not have had to kick on. Well I hope this review was helpful to anyone considering this card or not sure which of the 3 I mentioned would be best for you. Since I owned all 3 I'll close by saying again:1. Titan X is king but $$$2. Gtx 980 4GB is very close and 1/2 the price3. Gtx 970 4GB is your best buy for your money coming in slightly less powerful than the 980 but 1/2 the price of the 980 and 1/3 the price of the Titan X.Have an awesome day!!

Excellent product. Keep in mind that I am coming ...
Excellent product. Keep in mind that I am coming from 4x Radeon R9 290 Crossfire on custom ghetto 4x Corsair h55 ghetto cooled. This card is powerful and I do run 3x Geforce GTX Titan X SLI. It is ghetting a little bit to hot on 90% when three of them running 4320x2560 that is above and beyond 4K. Check me out, I am big on youtube iPlay4K. Anyways, this is the top card and one is good for 1080 on anything maximum visuals. If you are looking for 4K then you need to have at least two for good frames and if you get cash then 3x GTX Titan X SLi. But keep in mind that EVGA offering now water cooled like I am planing to put them on ghetto cooling and if you are looking for 2x or 3x titan X SLi then get water cooled closed loop by EVGA and you will thank me.3x Geforce GTX Titan X SLI at stock on air are about 1.7x faster than 4x Radeon R9 290 maximum overclocked crossfire on water so no throttling.Card is not noisy even at 90%, but single could be ran at 80% without throtlening at 92c. But 3x Titan X SLI is thottleting with heavy games maxed at 92c with 90% fan rotation that a little bit noisy but not like single GTX 680 back in the days. As again, good card get it, get it on water and set the custom bios to 1450 mhz with water and enjoy additional 40% boost which will put this card on another level!Coins: a little bit to hot when 2x or 3x SLI setup. Pricy.PRO: Excellent, metal air cooling design, sexy and good looking. Geforce GTX on the side is LED and can be controlled into multiple mods like blinking, breathing, or just illuminating the case.P.S: Check my youtube channel iPlay4K - MRZ MEDIA for videos with 4320x2560 resolution maximum gaming! I love this product and thanks god that Radeon R9 Fury X is slower and 980Ti is not faster. You want to get on water and get those custom overvolt bioses that turns this card 40% faster and safe with water. I will do tutorial on my channel.

Amazing! Titan X Hybrids SLI
What can i say these cards are insane.. I had recently purchased 2x 980ti hybrids and noticed alot of issues when it came to rendering games on 4k or sometimes even 2560x1440p. There are not many reviews on this product due to its rarity so i wanted to ease anyones mind who was thinking about dropping the money on one of these bad boys.I game 5+hours at ultra settings using SLI and i can tell you these cards even running 2x 980ti hybrids will blow your mind. I can run 4k Games on ultra settings pushing 150fps+ on 2560x1440 250 to 350fps on games. It is mind blowing the render quality and the fact that some games wont push more than 4g of vram most of the games i do play i was maxing out my 980tis due to my monitor being ultrawide and having 4k resolution. These Cards run EXTREMELY QUIET.. What is even more crazy is that the stock Titan X SC run at about 85c when under full load which is extremely hot especially when you are playing for 3+hours and if running SLI its like a mini heater.. These cards under full load run at 43c... idle at 29c.. Its insane. The fact that you are able to keep these cards at this temp is great for long term life since they are so expensive.Overall the Card is a great way to future proof your setup. Even with only one this card will still run your games maxed 4k at 60FPS. 2560x1440 will push 130 to 200fps on ultra, but anyone who sees the titans as a waste of money compared to the 980tis on a performance level i can tell you that is a huge difference for someone who runs games at max settings. These cards just in Firestrike alone you can see how much smoother the graphics look and while gaming it is a mind blower. If you are looking for a card that keeps cool runs games at the highest settings that you dont need to overclock and future proof your device with 12gb of vram you will not regret the purchase. With this all said i build computers and try tons of cards Asus Strix 6gb, 980ti SC, 980ti Hybrids, GTX 970 SC.. I can truly say the Titan X Hybrid lives up to the hype if you have a chance and are ready for the best video card on the market here it is. Hope you guys find this review helpful.
