I would not buy
While it is stamped Microsoft, I'm not convinced it is. But the worst thing is that the keyboard was obviously previously used. I returned and bought one directly from Microsoft. More money, but I'm sure it is legit and it was brand new.

Incompatible SurfacePro keypad
This is the second keypad that was exchanged as it was not compatible with my Surface pro. However, this one also was not compatible. So regrettably, it will be returned.

Excellent works great on Surface pro 6 fits the screen size perfectly. Also doesn't require a seperate charge. It charges right from the magnetic strip attached to the screen.
