Expected the lace to be more Halloween costume quality BUT it isn’t, it’s a fashion statement accessory. It’s really nice, strong, quality lace. Always wanted one of these black lace parasols and needed it for a Halloween costume. Surprise bonus…it’s a real parasol I can use anytime!

I purchased this parasol for a three day event. When I got it, I was pleased with how beautiful and well made it was. And while I agree with others that it may be a tad small. It still protected me from the Nevada sun quite well. Bottom line, you’d be hard pressed go find a parasol of this quality at a cheaper price.

I used this umbrella in a pinup contest and photoshoot. It's cute, and it's practical! It shades you from the sun.

One star removed because this parasol is a lot smaller than I expected it to be. That said it is absolutely stunning and will be perfect for the festival I'm attending this summer! It seems durable. My only other gripe is that there is no way to snap it shut when not in use. Other than that definitely worth the money.

Yes, buy this! Bought for the Renaissance Faire, has gone with me several seasons. Holds up well. My only disappointment is lack of a strap handle. I recommend buying one to add to it, so you can attach to a belt or back pack. I've gotten many compliments. Much cheaper to buy here then as the faire!

I love it! It made me feel so special to be walking around holding a parasol, even though I wasn't doing anything special :) Other than doing amateur photos for fun. The day I received it, I walked around with it for about seven hours. It is not too heavy but it also doesn't feel flimsy. The design is pretty and it is easy to open and close. Only complaint is maybe it is slightly yellower than I thought it would be and I worry about wrinkling the design if I use it too much, but otherwise I am super happy.
