Great add to a pellet grill
Added this to my Camp Chef pellet grill. Quality is very good. The grill is very heavily made and works great. On medium the grill is really hot and warms up quickly. if you remove the grill you have a great burner platform for a large pot of pan.

Striker didn't work
It is very good quality. I can make a liter for it. I'm a Tek that works on all kinds of stuff so know big deal but most people can fix stuff like this. But I've been very happy with all camp shef.

Great addition to my SmokePro DLX
This has been a very nice addition to my Camp Chef pellet grill. It was easy to install and has worked well so far. Note that the "side kick" is a combo package of the burner and 1 top accessory (either the griddle or the sear box). If you want both options, you might want to price both side kick options + the missing option as an add on accessory to see which option is cheapest. In my case, it was cheaper to buy the sidekick with griddle and then the sear box as a separate add on accessory than to buy the sidekick with sear box and add on the griddle separately. The griddle comes with a little grease trap box that hangs on your burner at the front of the griddle (attached picture shows it installed with some peppers I was cooking). Note that you can also buy a pizza oven as another separate top accessory option that will fit on your burner as well.

Little but powerful
This little thing is awesome! I actually didn’t use it as it was intended. I made a folding stand and attached it to the bottom to use as a slide out bbq for my toy hauler. I bought all the bbq and griddle and cook top. All 14” accessories work with it. The drain bucket and gutter system works great! Very happy with the way it cooks in all modes. Temp gauge is spot on. Very well built, you can tell it was made in America. The ignition sparker is a bit finicky tried adjusting it closer and farther away but nether did anything to help. I will have this bbq for a long time.

Thought maybe I loved my pellet grill, now I know!
Sidekick with griddle opens a world of outdoor cooking options. Added a barbecue box. The pellet grill alone already had us cooking outside extensively, each month, now it is multiple times per week, and includes breakfast! Sidekick is POWERFUL, but very controllable. Gets attachments up to temp fast, and is easy to maintain temp. Excellent for heating pots too. Read some reviews of people experiencing lighting problems. Happy to report mine lights right up, no need to break out matches. Get it!

A must if you own a Camp Chef Smoker.
Purchased and have used for two seasons, so far no complaints, just make sure you season the flat top properly or it will rust. Flat top does not warp from high heat. This and my smoker have made my BBQ irrelevant.

Nice add-on; minor issues
I got the SideKick recently. Set-up was easy. There is only 1 screw to support the SideKick if lifted by this side (obviously, it is not meant to be lifted by the right side, but it is likely that people unfamiliar with the unit will attempt to do so). Otherwise the unit is solid in supporting weight. Lighting is easy and reliable. Instructions recommend to avoid using maximum heat since it may distort the griddle. Heat is obviously excessive at full throttle. The "sweet spot" is between 1/3 and 2/3 of the the available power range and the trick is to let the temperature equalize. I had issues with the flame turning off when setting was at MIN. Maybe it is something I can adjust. Overall, it is a nice complement to the CampChef pellet grill. I have yet to explore it with other accessories.

Nice addon, but...
My ONLY complaint... I have a PEFECTLY LEVEL sidekick. It couldn't be more level. I put the griddle on, and it's slanting to the right too much. It's not the end of the world, I just have to wheel the grill out a bit and turn it so the slope of my patio works to level it out a bit so that grease drains properly... It seems that the griddle was not built properly to drain to the left from a level burner. The leveling screws were either missing, or not very well thought out, as they are too short to compensate for the griddle. This is great for bacon & eggs... smash burgers.. looking forward to hash browns on it... But - the pizza oven is next on my list to buy...
