Evercoat Poly-Flex Flexible Polyester Glazing Putty for Spot Filling and Skim Coating - 30 Fl Oz

I bought this to have something to fill cracks on a Star Wars costuming 2-piece helmet that I was working on and it did a great job! A recommendation with this for other uses is to use smaller amounts mixed with the hardening paste, as the instructions mention. It hardens very quickly but is excellent to spread when it is still malleable. I worked up multiple layers and then used 120 grit to higher grit to ensure that it levels down to a smooth finish. Did that a few times to ensure that there were no rough spots and it turned out fantastic! I have attached a picture which shows the helmet I worked on after clear coating, you can see minimal spotting with the Polyflex.

Great product, my bumper is tpo had to fire treat the spot after sanding with a little butane torch then apply filler. Sticks like original no cracking. Got broken on the trip and amazon refunded it. They need to protect the cap end when it's cold plastic will shatter. A simple piece of styrofoam on both ends would have prevented the package from being damaged and leaking filler and stinking up the mail room.

This stuff is super flexible. Recommend on any application where flexibility is required.

My old custom car is chopped and welded across the roof. I have redone the work 4-5 times using conventional body filler over the last 10 years as it always cracks when the unibody frame twists a bit. I will eventually add frame connectors but i just used this product and it flows really well and since it's still flexible after it cures i am hoping it doesn't crack again or nearly as much. Great product and i am ordering more!

I tried this in lieu of other brands. In the past I used Kustom Poly Glaze Finishing Putty, also sold on Amazon. I used the Kustom once before on my Manx VW Beach Buggy. It worked awesome until I ran out. While ordering another tube of it, I also ordered this product since it said "Fiberglass Evercoat". Well, the Kustom dries faster and is harder and not sticky than this stuff. This stuff drys slower and leaves a sticky residue on your mixing board and the Filler Spreader. I would never buy this product again and it costs more than the Kustom that I truely reccomend. I am not a pro body guy, let alone fiberglass guy, just have a hobby of fixing up old cars.

This tends to clog sandpaper easily. It does work and is very flexible.

Great stuff but man it dries fast, I dont mind it as Id rather this than take too long. Sands very well with no pores as well.

This stuff sands great and is really easy to apply. If you're still using bondo brand filler stop now and use this stuff. I use this on the endura bumper on a trans am and filled all the cracks and imperfections easily.
