Jack Black Industrial Strength Hand Healer

I tend to be quite skeptical about a lot of hand lotions, because so many of them are greasy and unpleasant to have on, especially if you actually work with your hands. So many of them claim to leave your hands feeling matte, but they actually don't. I work at a computer all day, and I absolutely cannot stand greasy fingers while typing on my keyboard. So far this lotion seems to do a good job and makes me forget that I have anything on my hands. When you first apply it, it's quite thick and almost chalky, but absorbs into your skin quickly if you don't use too much. It's heavier, and quite conditioning, and it *eventually* leaves your hands feeling matte, but it takes about five minutes for the greasy and clammy feeling to leave your hands while it absorbs into the skin. The scent is pleasant and medicinal, with lots of menthol/eucalyptus. Reminds me of a barbershop or something. Also, I love that Jack Black seals their bottle openings with a foil film, so you don't need to worry about getting a previously used product or something. **The Good** - Excellent hand moisturizer - No greasy lotion feel once it absorbs - Clean and masculine scent, disappears quickly - A little goes a long way (think pea to dime-size amount) - Bottle opening is sealed with foil, don't have to worry about getting a used product - I find that I only have to apply once or twice a day, so it definitely works **The Bad** - A little pricey for hand lotion, which will deter a lot of people away from trying it I think that my biggest issue with this product is the price, which is kind of ridiculous for the amount of lotion that you get, but Jack Black already charges absurd prices for their just-slightly-above-average-performing products (which is what deterred me away for a long time). However, you really only have to use a small amount (think the size of a dime) compared to other hand lotions, which is why I like the product. The size and price will likely deter a lot of people away from this lotion unless they are Jack Black users, unfortunately. After spending some time with it, I'm finding it's become my go-to hand lotion during the day and before bed. I like the matte feeling, the eucalyptus scent, and the fact that I don't have to use a lot to get the results I want. I'll definitely be buying more of this once the bottle runs out.

I have very dry skin and it's gotten way worse with constant handwashing and dishes with a baby in the house. So I knew I needed a quality hand cream and decided to try this as the lip balms are AMAZING. I've been using it a couple weeks now and I can say it's pretty great. Moisturizing--it's pretty decent. My hands are extremely bad so it might be perfect for others. It's not solving everything for me but I know that's a me problem. But this isn't greasy, soaks into the hands nicely, and I do feel a difference. Smell--one of my favorites for a hand cream ever. It's probably supposed to be a "man" scent but I'm a huge fan of eucalyptus sort of smells. It's not overwhelming but you can definitely smell it for a little while after use. I'd buy this again, it's a little pricier than I'd like but I think worth the extra cost.

Pricey, yes. But this stuff works really well. I live in a dry climate, and put it on the back of my hands and knuckles every night, without which my knuckles crack and bleed and hurt all the time even though I stay very well hydrated.

This lotion is amaaaazing!! Just need a small amount and it absorbs pretty much instantly leaving skin feeling incredibly soft with fine lines smoothed out. Skin feels like when you visit a humid place and suddenly hands look 20 years younger, it’s that look and feel. Smells really nice, too. May have to splurge on large pump bottle when this runs out!!

I am a woman and used this lotion so maybe my review would be different for males. This lotion is really great, it absorbs really quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your hands (as long as you don't put too much on ). Like other reviewers mentioned, it definitely has a medicinal smell because of the eucalyptus. The smell is really strong when you first put the lotion on, which is why I only gave it a 4 star rating. The smell dissipates after about 15 minutes but initially it is overwhelming. I would recommend this lotion but I may not buy it again due to the smell.

My skin was very cracked, bleeding often, and nothing was working. I had already tried 4 other brand-name moisturizers and was going to see a dermatologist. This literally did magic! Came on time, nicely packaged. Can't wait to try more items from this brand.

Healed my feet cracks. Really light weight moisturizing hand cream. Left my skin feeling soft and repaired the rough cracks on my feet. I also use it for my hands and it’s great in the winter. You don’t need to use much which is good considering the size for price! Definitely worth the money.

It was only October and the skin on the tips of my fingers was so cracked and raw, in spots it was actually bleeding. Boy, there's not too many things worse than having your digits out of commish. So the Jack Black Industrial Strength Hand Healer arrived yesterday, and I've applied it probably 6-8 time in the course of the last 24 hours. I have to tell you, this stuff is no joke: my hands feel, oh, I don't know, 80% less dry (e.g., *significantly better*) and my cracked and bleeding skin seems to be healing right up. It's not greasy, and the scent is a sort of very light, fast-vanishing herbal smell--totally unisex, not flowery at all. I'm sold. If your hands hurt due to what seems to be intractable dryness, you might want to try it. It ain't cheap, but it works, and you don't have to use much to see results PDQ. Of course I'll update if there's a sudden fail; I doubt it, but occasionally it happens with lotions.

Absolutely brilliant product! My husband had been suffering from dry, chapped hands for ages. We tried a million different creams, lotions, balms, oils with no good results. After just a couple of weeks applying this, his hands are softer then ever. 100% recommended.

Didn’t work on dry skin on hands

Its very expensive but it works. It creates a s thick layer on your skin and heals and moisturises very well. I would buy again and I would recommend.
