Women's Joanie II Lace Wedge Sandals

These wedge sandals are great! They run true to size, they're really cute, easy to take on and off, and they're exceptionally comfortable for wedges! I own a pair of Sorel's waterproof winter wedge boots (much more cumbersome to take on and off without a zipper) that I practically lived in all winter, so I knew I needed a summer pair. With the winter wedges, the size 8 fits fine (7.5 would probably work okay if I wore thin socks), and with this pair, the 6.5 fits just right. If in doubt, size up. I have flat feet that tire easily, but these smooth suede shoes are soft and supportive, and they keep me standing and walking comfortably for several hours at a time. If you're used to wearing heels a lot, you'll feel like you're wearing sneakers with these!The thing I don't love is the super thick laces; they're too bulky and long, somewhat detracting from the attractive style. Although the laces allow you to tighten the shoes as much as you want, they come undone too easily and they're just way too long. This may not be the case if you have really wide or swollen feet. So the sizing versatility will please plenty of people; these wedges fit all narrow or wide feet, and the toe bed area isn't overly narrow. But if your toe bed is extra wide, definitely size up.Also, the inner back of the left shoe is slightly rough, and it sometimes rubs against my heel/calf, leaving it rough and hurting. It feels a bit uncomfortable when I walk. Otherwise, these wedge sandals are pretty awesome, and they balance your weight well. The bottom has a textured, anti-slip rubber surface. You never feel off-balance or like you're about to tip over, even on uneven surfaces. Have no fear!My advice: The prices fluctuate so much on here! So wait until the price is somewhat reasonable if it's not at the moment. Originally this pair cost over $170 (the price also varies by color and size) and I waited a couple weeks until they went down to $104. Also, when I ordered the black pair it simply never arrived. So I just went for the more affordable bluish gray pair, which are adorable. I would recommend not buying these shoes from any seller other than Sorel. I searched long and hard for comfortable, but cute heels and these fit the bill. I’m a lover of sexy shoes, and after a foot injury and knee surgery, I thought I would be a slave to ugly, matronly shoes forever - a sad, but true, reality. But then these little cuties entered my life and now I’m complete again. Thank you Sorel for saving me from a future of nursing shoes and support hose. Been looking for a fashionable and sexy sandal that you can walk in all day. This is it! It is the right height to make it easy to balance in. The sole has good traction for slippery surfaces. It fits snugly around your ankle so your ankle feels stabilized. It covers most of the front of your foot so it hides any imperfections. It is edgy because of the sneaker like laces and chunky Sorel treads. The upper is made of Nubuck and is a pretty, pastel pink. The soft nubuck keeps blisters from forming on rub spots. Highly recommend this shoe.

For the few days I owned them I absolutely loved them. Sadly my shoes were short lived as they became ashes along with the rest of my house in a wildfire. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat if I had the money. Super cute and the usual amazing Sorel Quality.

Wish I had known about this brand earlier. My feet are in heaven. I broke both feet and ankles in the army over 20 years ago and can rarely wear wedges or heels without my feet screaming so I have to be careful about buying quality shoes. These have changed that. Purchased them in blue and the color is fabulous! The comfort is so fantastic I can even wear them all day at work, not just a night out to dinner! I am going to scour Amazon for other styles by this brand!

I read reviews that said to order a 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. DON'T! At first that was great but as they stretched out over time they are now too big and there is nothing I can do. My foot slips in them and they are now uncomfortable. When I first got them they were the best shoe ever, fun, funky, oddly sexy and comfortable. Now they are just too wide and too long. I can wear them with insoles but the insoles show and you shouldn't have to use insoles in expensive shoes.

This is the fourth pair of Sorels I have purchased and I am amazed at both the fit and the comfort of shoes in this brand These are fashion shoes,, and fashion shoes are not known for their comfort and wearability. I can spend hours in these wedges and my foot still feels good. The laces provide excellent stability and keep my foot from moving around. I cannot say enough good things about these wedges. If you have a long day ahead of you, you need to be wearing these shoes.

I love the look and fit of the shoe. Unfortunately I have developed some type of allergy to some chemical that is coating the inside leather. My feet are covered in itchy blisters. After wearing the shoe twice I will not be able to wear it again or return it as it’s past return date. So if anyone has foot allergies please be warned.
