Great Outdoor TV Solution!
Cannot reccomend this enough. The best outdoor tv solution, barrring building a custom enclosure. I think it looks good enough for what it is. But it makes life so much easier having the tv outside on the patio. Set up is pretty involved but the instructions are very clear and.

Skeptical now a Fan
At first I thought this thing to be too big, bulky unattractive and way too expensive. Well, I agreed to give it a try and now I am the biggest fan. It's convenient, easy to get the TV out and then safely store back in. And man is it water proof. We have had some torrential storms and not a drop has made it's way inside. I also love the mount, it makes retracting and adjusting the TV a snap. If your serious about extending your living space outdoors and TV needs to be a part of that, don't skimp. And how's it look I included some pics. You be the judge.

Effective Protection with a Few Assembly Tips
The Storm Shell SS-65 Outdoor TV Enclosure is a solid choice for protecting a 65" TV outdoors. Assembly was manageable with easy-to-follow instructions, though having a sawhorse or an extra pair of hands is helpful for holding the panels in place. The hook works well, allowing the TV to be positioned evenly and moved in and out of the enclosure effortlessly. The cover takes a bit of practice to ensure a watertight seal, but it performs excellently—no leaks during California’s strongest rainstorms. The latches are good quality, but you’ll need different locks if you want to secure the TV. Overall, I’m very pleased with the performance, though it does feel a bit overpriced. Still, given the quality and protection, it’s worth the investment.

Seems Good
I bought the SS-65 for a 55 and soundbar on my patio.I am an electrician. I have hung many tvs. This is the first case I've installed. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble the shell. Find all of your parts prior to starting, and keep in mind that you are screwing metal into plastic. Don't overdo it. Check the edges, they can cut. The tv mount is pretty typical, feels pretty stout. I attached a soundbar bracket to it, so they would move together. I also added a receptacle under the tv mount. The case does feel fairly sturdy. We've had 2 rains since it's been up, dry inside.Cover fits snug, although I do have long-term durability concerns about the latches.Time will tell.Overall, I am pleased.

Does the job, waaaaaay overpriced
Looks good, keeps the TV protected but at the end of the day, it is so overpriced. It's basically a large tupperware with a tv mount inside. Works well and we like it, but in no way is this thing worth $500-$600. I have no idea why the cost of this piece of plastic is more to manufacture than a 4k TV. Really StormShell??And you can't include the adapter mounting plate? I can't imagine everyone's house has studs that align perfectly in the center of their outdoor walls. That adapter plate is not much and given the insane price you're charging for the shell, you have room to include these. Do better

Total Nightmare !! Save Your money!! Video doesn't match !! Definately not easy installation!!
This was a total nightmare !! Not easy to put together or hang up ! The directions sucked ! It took us days to put together and hang. Peeling of its protective skin was absolutely ridiculous !! Also took hours to remove. Overall we spent more for the storm shell than the T.V inside and we would not recommend this product for self installation. It was so frustrating to hang ! and now that its up what do you do with the cover when your using the T.V ?? Big and awkward and not easy for 1 person to remove by themself. It really takes 2 people to remove shell. Not worth the money!! or the headache !! better to buy a lightweight fabric cover and be done with it. Put the money you saved twards a better T.V

Excellent protection
Living in Florida it’s hard to predict hurricane or tropical storms and whether or not you should take down your outdoor tv, but now we don’t need to. This product protects our tv, it’s easy to take cover on and off, not too heavy although you might need an extra set of hands to put the cover on, mounting took some time, large enough to fit our 50” television and looks great on our patio without looking too bulky
