This book is the best, has patterns, instructions and history about the Hawaiian quilt. Poakalani not only has this book but they have others as well as their own web site that you can order different patterns of many sizes there. The owner also will answer any questions you may have regarding the books and patterns. I highly recommend this book

Great book to get Hawaiian quilt patterns

A good example of various blocks of Hawaiian quilting squares. I tackled a few small ones before looking to start the full quilt. After living in Hawaii for a year I came to really appreciate the likeness of their quilts to those of some of the early Amish quilts - bold colors and simple designs - - - beware, just because it looks simple - it takes patience and time and is worth every stitch of it!

As a former resident of Hawaii and yearly visitor, I have long admired the Hawaiian quilt designs. The easy directions and full size patterns are allowing me to produce my own pillow covers and quilts. Since January I have completed six covers and am working on more. I love my new hobby.!

I have purchased this book for myself. I was so pleased that I purchased four more for quilting friends. I recommend this series of quilt books. It has everything you need to learn to needle turn applique, plus it has beautiful patterns. This book has great photos and directions, so that you come away with confidence in your own ability.

This book contains printable patterns, the history of the shapes, and suggestions for cutting, quilting, and sewing in the traditional Hawaiian fashion -- by hand. That said, the patterns can easily be used with more modern quilting techniques.

Le livre 1 puis le 2 et le 3 sont très intéressants...On a tout envie de réaliser ces magnifiques fleurs qui ne sont pas trop difficiles à réaliser...

Arrived on time and quailty more than expected

すでに出版されている、Vol.１＆２より一回り大きいパターンです。同じ柄の物もありますが、デザインが少し変わっただけなのですが雰囲気が違うように見えます。定番のプルメリア・パイナップル・アンスリウムもありますし、かめ・タコなどのかわいい物もあります。少しステップアップしたい方、少し大きい物を作ってみたい方には特に楽しめると思います。作り方の行程が、白黒ですが写真で載っています。

どうしても欲しかった本なので購入しました。表紙のパターンが載っているものなので中はきれいで問題ありません。ただ、「表紙ヤケあり」とはどの程度でしょう？表紙は半分ピンクで半分オレンジ、裏表紙はオレンジです。程度を示して欲しいです。コンディションのコメントを信じるしかないのですから。ただ、本は素晴らしい！

Poakalaniさんのキルトパターン集の第３段です。ハワイアンキルトを作る上で、大変重宝しています。パート１、２とは違った、新しいデザインが載ってます。キルトラインも描いてあるし、作り方も載っているので初心者でも安心。サンプラーズキルト等を作るのに、オススメの１冊です。
