Excellent product! Will buy more Anker products.
After my cheap auxiliary cable met an early and untimely demise I avoided getting a new one right away. Most places didn't have very good quality cables for a convenient price so I eventually went on Amazon and found this one. Having been using an Anker battery charger that has been wonderfully reliable and extremely useful for the past couple years I figure I'd trust the brand with a pretty cheap cable (or cord? Is it cord? I'm never sure of the difference) and my purchase ended up being an excellent one! Since I drive an old 2008 Hyundai that doesn't have Bluetooth this has been something of a God send letting me listen to my music from my iShuffle or my phone. The cable has a nice thick rubber coating that has a pliable softness that is pleasant to the touch. The metal ends have a little extra protection extended a little bit of extra rubber to help avoid the fraying that often happens when the rubber and attachment meet. (Am I describing this alright? I hope it's understandable). It's a very solid build and so far I haven't had any issues with it and it's survived the beating of being in my bag and car. My fiance is already buying more USB charging cables from Anker, and I plan to stay a regular buyer of their products which continue to be reliable and and of excellent quality at a great price.

GREAT cable. very high quality. Great price. Very impressed.
Bought March 2017: This is great AUX cable for your IPAD, IPHONE, or other device to connect to external speakers or other devices. I did use it to connect an IPHONE to external speakers. The cord should also work fine in older vechicles thaat accept an AUX cord for inpou to the car or truck's audio system. I ordered the 4 ft length. This is long enough but not so long the cord become a bother in a car, or at home. The cord semms to be what some call no-snag cables. Also very nice insulation to ikeep signal quality across the wire. The plugs are 2 channel stereo plugs. You would expect that, but there are some out there that are mono plugs. Plugs with the 2 black bands or maybe one red and one green, around the tip are usually stereo plugs, or should be. So these will pass your 2 channel audio to another device. I tested that also. Both channels get transmitted. The quality control on the plugs seems very good and I like the extra metal cylindrical 1 inch covering so when you attach and detach the cables the probability of the cord getting detached from the plug over many uses (in ad out of something) is very unlikely. that is GREAT! In the box you will find a 1 page customer support contact info. Nice ! They are thinking about their customers. The pbone number is also on the bottom of the box. And it comes with a detachable velcro wire wrap to wrap this to store it away, or use the velcro strap to wrap some other wires you may have. You might find less expensive ones, and probably several that are more expensive, but I doubt they will come close to the quality of this cable.

Quality and Durable
Nice rubber insulation with Ultra Polished and Durable connectors. Have used about 9 months now for connecting my car audio to my phone so when I get in and out of my car I connect and disconnect. No glitches or noise with these, just solid connections. I don't treat these roughly but have been using them while driving Uber for passenger entertainment. Perfect sound every time and I used to be an Audio Repairman and I must say I am impressed with these from tip to tip and will purchase again if needed.

Second time around, much better.
*Update 9/2/15 Anker contacted me after my original review. They figured I had a defective cable. Didn't seem like it to me but whatever. They sent me another free of charge and I'm happy to report, it actually does fit better than the first. It still doesn't fit as good as the Skull Candy cable I had laying around for the application I originally wanted it for though. It still comes out of my desktop's front panel connector kinda easy but it fits pretty decently in my phone, headphone amp, and other stuff now. Since it still does fit better overall in various other things, I have a few applications it'll be good for now. Namely, my portable speaker or the speakers on my bed's headboard. It's fitment is now on par with some of the others I already had but where it wins is quality. It has a much nicer look and feel and just seems well made. Also, Anker's quick response and willingness to make things right was fantastic. I'm very impressed with them. They'll definitely be a brand I'll keep my eye out for in other products. Thanks a lot Anker! Original Review: The cable seems to be made well enough but has a slight problem. It works but the diameter of the connector seems to be slightly smaller than it's supposed to be. I bought it to replace the factory cable that came with my Philips SHP9500 headphones that was too long for where I was using them. The problem is, it slips into and out of the ports on the headphones and PC front panel connector (Corsair Obsidian 750D) too easily. The connector just slips right out with no effort. It's the only cable out of all my stuff that does that. The factory Philips cable, the cable on my Sennheiser HD439 headphones, the cable for my Soundblaster E1 headphone amp, all of them stay in just fine. And of course, I tried plugging it into other stuff as well just to be sure. It's too loose in my cell phone (OnePlus One), the previously mentioned headphone amp, headphone extension cord (for other applications), Wii U game pad, and a couple sets of computer speakers' headphone jacks. It did seem to fit ok in my Vita, 3DS, and laptop. I don't use the Philips headphones with them though. I instead have a pair of Sennheiser PX360 headphones for them, and its connector still fits better. Otherwise, it seems to be made somewhat well and it works as long as it stays in. I found the back up cable for a pair of Skullcandy Bluetooth headphones I don't wear anymore, and it fits perfectly so I'm just gonna use it. I might find another use for the Anker maybe where its looseness will be less of an issue.

The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on ...
For years and years, I have been using old Radio Shack cables to hook my phone to my car's AUX jack. The cables were always stiff, cheap-feeling, and the ends were wrapped in plastic that was so thick it wouldn't get past my phone case's headphone port cut-out. I looked for a reasonably-priced replacement for my wife and myself due to these issues and came upon these cables. I'm very impressed: Size of jack: The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on my phone case. This was a must. Feel of the cable: The cable itself is made of a supple, flexible material that easily bends yet resists tangling. It neatly drapes rather than jutting at odd angles. Fit and finish: Wow - the plugs themselves have a metal sheath that screams durability and the gold-plated plugs are a nice touch - I've often had to "erase" my other plugs to rub corrosion off and prevent static. These will likely prevent that for quite some time. Price: I honestly think these were cheaper than the cruddy Radio Shack cables I had and I bought those years ago. Add to that these shipped for free in two days via Prime and I'm extremely happy. Audio quality: Well, honestly I can't give you a great amount of detail here as it's hard to pinpoint audio details on a mid-range stereo in a car. There is just too much going on that interferes with nuances. I'm positive they at least meet the quality of my old cables and I have never had the issues companies like Monster claim you will get with thinner cables. I'll leave the in-depth audio reviews for someone with the right equipment. Yeah, I'm sure you can find cheaper cables if you look. No, I doubt you will find them all around as good as these or have them ship as fast. These suit my needs and exceed my expectations. Yet another Anker product I'm quite pleased to own.

Good solid feel until it just gets annoying. (UPDATE! Great Customer Service!)
Below is my previous complaint, as you can see Anker responded to my review and asked me to contact them. I contacted them and actually send me a couple of emails asking me if I still had the same problem (I actually didn't want to go through a complicated customer service process). Then by their own initiative they sent me free of charge a replacement cable and I could keep the old one with me. The new one appears to have none of the previous issues and the quality is great. Overall I have to say that while I was a bit disappointed, the customer service was superb! This is a brand that can be trusted in their quality of products and service and will keep trusting for years to come. I have previously used Anker products and I am kind of disappointed on this one. I use this cable exclusively on my car to connect my phone and recently the steel (?) sleeve covering the connection between the cable and the plug is basically loose. The steel part is where you would expect it to be handled but everytime I pull it slides back, so for me to remove the cable I have to just grab the cable and pull it, exactly the way everyone says not to. It probably was mishandling on my part, maybe it got stuck in some weird part of the car, but it's something I wasn't expecting from Anker. To be fair the cable still works and I just swaped sides and left this boren one plugged in the car.

Excellent quality
After many purchases and returns at target and best buy, this aux cable came out on top. All of my other cables had static whenever they were moved, or cut out the trebble or bass if it want in the perfect and persice position. Almost all of them had terrible feedback plugging it in, too. This happened with my car, Bose SL3 speaker, iphone radio/stereo, and many other aux compatable devices as well as different playback devices. THIS cable, is perfection. I have had zero issues in terms of sound quality. never an ounce of interference. No feedback on anything uppon contact to the ports. Not only that, but one minor gripe I had with all my other cables is they stayed bent and it was difficult to fully uncoil it to be a straight, fluid cord. This cable doesnt stay bent if you bend it. Its fluid, smooth, and beautiful. Everything about this cable feels right, in the physical and digital sense. Its only 4 feet (1.2meters) in length, but its enough for personal use. If you need 10 feet of cable you should invest in bluetooth. It also comes with a pseudo-valcro wrap that only sticks to itself to hold it together, which is useful for portability. I keep in in my coat pocket consisting of wool blends, and the wrap never sticks to it or tears. I highly reccomend this product.

The Last Headphone Cable You'll Buy (Until You Lose It)
As someone who's sent countless headphone cables to the great audio jack in the sky, I've become a reluctant expert in replacement cables. This one's been faithfully connected to my Philips SHP9500S for over 6 months, and honestly, I'm starting to worry it might outlive me. BUILD QUALITY: ✓ Slim metal housing that actually fits with phone cases (finally, I can retire my "cable whittling" hobby) ✓ Gold connectors - because your music deserves better than gas station tin ✓ Professional-grade heat shrink protection (the kind of thing guitar players brag about) ✓ Flexible rubber shielding that doesn't try to cosplay as a garden hose PRACTICAL FEATURES: Perfect 4-foot length - unlike those cables that could double as a jump rope Works with any standard 3.5mm jack (yes, it's promiscuous) So streamlined it makes those coiled telephone cables look like they're having an identity crisis DURABILITY TEST: Six months of daily abuse, including workouts where I probably looked like a hamster on an espresso binge, and it's still performing like it's day one. No loose connections, no splits, no drama. VALUE: At $8, it costs less than my daily coffee habit and performs better than cables that cost more than my monthly streaming subscription. It's like finding a Ferrari at Honda prices, except it's a headphone cable and I might be getting carried away with analogies. VERDICT: If you're tired of your cable collection looking like a wire graveyard, this one's your ticket to audio nirvana. It's the Toyota Corolla of headphone cables - reliable, practical, and surprisingly well-built for the price. Just try not to lose it (I'm looking at you, person who can never find their phone charger).
