Q: Has anybody tried knotting this to original cord? My handle is gone but rope is ok.

Presuming your rope is the same diameter, that would work. On the other hand, good to have both in this kit, just in case (it will likely occur again). Can't beat the price. PS. I purchased but replaced both the rope and handle in Honda engine in an older Troybuilt mower (by Lowes). Worked perfectly. Good Luck. [Other than diameter and length of the rope, I doubt there is a difference. Yet in a snowblower, you might want/need a heavier rope.]

Q: Will this work for a 4 wheeler ?

Not sure. Lawn mower engines are typically smaller than 4-wheeler engines and may require a little more heavy duty pull cord for the larger engine. That is 100% guess with no fact checking though.

Yes it will work. It's a little long so you would have to cut it down.

It is a generic string so it should work as long as it is long enough.
