Tommy Hilfiger Women's Packable Down Jacket with Wave Quilting

I am traveling to a cold place and need something light, yet warm. I couldn't decide between an L ( usual size) or an XL. I took a chance and ordered an XL. It fits loosely so that I can wear a thick hoodie underneath. The color is not as shiny silver looking, more a of lovely color of grey. It will match anything in my wardrobe but I will probably wear it with jeans. If I were to wear the jacket with only a thin tee shirt underneath it would be a bit big. But, I am thrilled with this purchase for my purposes !

Admittedly I am in between a large & extra large but this jacket would be hard to fit a true XL person. The sleeve length was almost past my fingers while the area around the hips was almost right. Too big through the shoulders so overal there was no way to make it work. Color more dull grey than pictured but the jacket was made well, that's a positive!

Could be 5 stars, but I am a tough grader. Sometimes a large fit is too large and sometimes a medium fit is too small. This particular jacket is a little bit large as a large size but essentially fits as expected. Confused yet? Anyway, this jacket looks nice and is of good quality.

This was pretty flimsy out of the bag - and the sleeve tore pretty easily which I had to have fixed. It is fine for what is has been used for but definitely not the same quality as any of our North Face jackets....but then again it wasn't as expensive either.

A very nice, stylish, lightweight, yet warm coat.Works with most occasions and I'm sure It will get plenty of use.I bought this jacket for myself and I love it wear it everywhere. MY friend says that it is the perfect jacket.

I was a bit worried about how this jacket would fit. It fits right between the hips and thighs. Very flattering. I am 5'6" and has plenty of jacket coverage. Looks very nice with jeans or leggings. SOFT and LIGHT. This is a new material. I have been seeing it in many catalogs. They keep coming up with better and better ideas and fabrics. This is a winner. I wear a large and the large fit really well. I am quite happy with this purchase.

2 pieces of plastic with an imaginary feather within. The "sale" price is really the non-sale retail price at best. whoever said they used in Chicago and it slightly inadequate is a moron. Don't bother for the alleged retail price I would have expected a little more. For a $500.00 jacket (which I own) I would expect and have gotten a lot. This is a medium duty wind breaker.

The coat is really cute on. Not too bulky and will be perfect for traveling as it comes with a little bag to pack it in. Seems warm even with the cold days in Chicago so far. Certainly not a ski jacket so I wouldn't wear it for heavy outdoors activities, but it's great for errands and day time wear or casual evenings. I know I will get a lot of use out of it...as long as I can keep my daughters from using it too!
