Fantastic Upgrade for my kitchen faucet
Certainly Stylish, yet provides supreme performance, for a very versatile kitchen sink. Love the functionality of the pull down spray and stream selectability. Never really utilized the old faucet's, separate side spray, as it was sloppy and inconvenient. Love the looks and design! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Awesome faucet features, so nice to use
I love this faucet, I'd give it 5 stars if a couple things were different. That said I have been using a similar design faucet for over a decade but about a year ago the bar to engage the sprayer got stuck/rusted in the sprayer mode. I guess they have a certain lifetime and 10 years might be OK, but this Kohler was much more expensive so it better last 20 years. So I have been using a half functional faucet for the last year and you don't realize the happiness such simple things can bring, such as a faucet head that just works. The one I am replacing is more like the Kohler Sous, which is highly recommended, but I wanted the buttons that hold the sprayer on and gives the full flow power.First, the angled nozzles to produce a powerful flat sweeping spray pattern is EXCELLENT. I've only had it installed a month so hoping these nozzles hold up. This is the best feature of the faucet, but it also looks really nice.Second, and this compliments #1, the bypass button to allow higher flow, is AWESOME for sweeping things off plates or mud off dog frisbees, etc...and also AWESOME for filling pots and dog water bowl reservoirs.Third, the buttons allow you to keep it in the wide spray pattern without holding it in, and thats very helpful when also scrubbing on things, etc...its just nice.Four, this faucet looks very nice and no normal pull out hose issues. The tall spring bends easily to bring it down into a deep sink, and the magnetic holder for the faucet head is perfect, it holds the head at a good distance to allow it to pour into pots and wash hands with less bending and such.Five, install was a breeze and very solid. Previously had a shaky faucet with a little rod and horseshoe shaped nut that I had to re tighten difficultly on an annual basis. This has a full threaded cylinder the supply lines go through, so it cinches down solid all around, and there are set screws to prevent it from loosening. Also, we turned it so the valve was facing about 60 degrees forward so our hands don't drip all over counter when shutting it off or turning on, etc... this worked will with our installation with the large deep full counter depth tub on the left and the smaller shallower sink tub on the right. So the valve just covers where the two tubs are separated.A couple not very important cons, I first received an open box item from Amazon as "new", missing a small piece, so I returned and bought from Kohler direct. I thought the faucet had a grey hose inside the spring to the head, so would blend with the stainless color, but its black, so it sticks out. The buttons are also black plastic, and while I love how they work, I don't love the black plastic look. at least the hose and buttons match I guess. Lastly, and this is just my preference, but I would have preferred a larger base connection to the counter. I have a single hole mount and no room to install the 3-hole cover base. The diameter of the base is adequate to cover the hole, but for stability of this tall thing, I would have preferred it a bit wider or another base adapter at the base that is like half an inch wider all around to also help conceal any issues around the hole cut in the granite. It seems very solid right now, but I really cranked that nut under the sink, crushing the plywood in to make sure it was tight.

Quality issues: junk in valve slowed water flow + miserable installation instructions
Like many folks, I researched faucets a lot before purchasing this one, from Amazon. It arrived fine and fast. The packaging was fine. I had read the comments / complaints about the miserable installation instructions and thought: (a) surely Kohler must have fixed that issue by now; (b) I'm a pretty handy fellow, I'll probably do fine. Wrong. The instructions, as of about April, 2016, are unimproved - and they are truly horrible. I found an installation video of sorts on YouTube - Kohler had put it up there, I believe. It *was* helpful. However, it never mentioned at all one very important component: there is a white nylon(ish) ring with some small teeth on it, some going up from the plane of the circle and some going down from the plane. This ring was loose in the package when I received it. It was neither on nor near any other part of the stuff in the box. As I was kind of stepping through the installation procedure on my kitchen table, while looking at the video, I saw nothing about that ring. I thought maybe it was just a spacer of some sort that was used in the packaging, but not in the installation. It wasn't explicitly mentioned in the written instructions, nor in the video. Anyway, I installed the faucet without that ring. And that was a mistake.THE RING. The mentioned white ring with little tabs or teeth on it is meant to keep the tall facet assembly aligned correctly on the base plate when you're tightening it down. If you don't put the ring in place, they you will have a very hard time getting the facet to sit perpendicular to the base plate (and to the sink). The off-kilter faucet just looks wrong - and it would probably lead to water intrusion and who knows what other problems over time. After installing the faucet without the ring, I saw this problem, swore a bit, and figured the issue had to be the mysterious ring. I looked back at the video very, very carefully. There is a brief shot of the base place where, if you look hard, you can see a couple of the tabs from said ring sticking up just slightly. Ah ha. I took everything back apart, figured out how the ring "must go" (after some trial and error on the table), and re-installed it. That worked like a charm.A couple of tips for do-it-yourself-installers:1) I don't think I could have done the installation without a second person. Someone (or something) has to hold the heavy'ish faucet in the right position as you're tightening the assembly from under the sink.2) Don't forget that stinkin' white ring! (see above)3) I had to use a lot of plumber's putty around the rim of the base plate in order to get a satisfactory seal. First try, I didn't use enough. That was a drag, because I had to take stuff apart to re-do it. Be generous with your putty! The extra scrapes away easily.4) Be aware that the base plate included in the box does cover "3 holes" standard type sinks. (This faucet only requires the center hole. the base place covers the other two, if they are there. I believe you can install it fine with only one hole as well.)5) There is a lot of talk in the comments about a white plastic piece associated with the water feed lines - and whether to leave it in place, remove it, etc. Some people had real consternation with that. The feed lines from the hot & cold water service do have these fairly find little white plastic pieces in them, right at the end that attaches to the corresponding lines that are part of the faucet assembly. Those white pieces must stay in place. They are integral to the connection between the lines (you'll see .. but look carefully, and look for the video on youtube - these are more or less demonstrated there). BUT, there are also clear plastic covers or caps that are on the ends of the water lines coming down from the faucet assembly. Those clear caps (obviously, I think) must be removed. After removing the clear caps the feed lines with their white connector pieces just snap together with the lines coming from the faucet. (the video is your friend. this part was not hard .. but you have to pay pretty close attention.)6) WATER FLOW ISSUES & HOW I SOLVED IT. Almost forgot. Once I got everything reassembled properly, the cold water flowed strongly, but the hot water came out in a pathetic little trickle. It was maddening, since I had spent a lot of money and, by now, a lot of time putting this together. This problem was really mystifying. My old faucet had very strong water flow for hot & cold. I took apart the water feed line at the turn-off junction (at the wall under the sink) and examined the line the best I could. I saw a little filter element in both of the water feed lines that came with the faucet. My old faucet did not have this. The hot water filter had a couple of very small pieces of plastic that were on the filter. I gently removed those. Reattached. No good - same problem. I took some of the lines apart and tried re-flushing the faucet assembly (including the mixing valve) according to the installation instructions (see video, mentioned). That didn't help. Desperate and truly frustrated, I somehow determined that maybe blowing hard into and through the hot water line might, just might, help. It seemed nutty. I took the line back off at the wall, opened the "turned on" the hot water valve at the faucet (note: not water was coming out because that line was disconnected ... but this opened the valve so air could maybe come thru..), then I climbed back under the sink and blew like hell into that little water line. After a couple of seconds, you could hear some air coming out of the faucet. I blew some more. When I hooked everything back up, the hot water worked fine! (.. and the cold water was still A-OK) Whew. I would have been very, very unhappy if that had not worked.Net: The installation instructions are inexcusably awful and unclear. The hot water flow problem was / is some kind of quality control issue at the factory -- they had gotten some grit or junk up into the line or the valve that I was lucky enough to be able to clear by blowing air through it. And, in use, the faucet after a month works great. I like it a lot - but give it a 2 star review due to the above not-very-acceptable issues. I'm a little worried that the water line connections seem a bit flimsy .. and that they might come apart some day. But, for now, everything is working fine. (after a month or two of use)

Poor quality
Purchased in Oct 2018, for $360.72. I installed it in Nov 2018. It started leaking below the handle , possibly within the first year. We weren't 100% sure it was leaking until about March 2020. The spray nozzle also had issue. Kohler customer care took care of the warranty claim in Nov 2020, so I have no complaints with them. However, I attempted the repair today, Jan 2021, and cannot get the faucet apart. The handle was seized to the plastic stem of the valve, the bonnet was seized to the packing nut, and the packing nut is seized to the housing. I am sending a letter to Kohler, will see what they say, but the faucet is basically euchred. It will have to be replaced. My recommendation to anyone buying this or a similar Kohler product, is to put anti-seize on all the threaded parts, as you will be taking them apart one day........I have owned MOEN products over many years, and NEVER had a cartridge I couldn't replace.....

Handle leaks
The media could not be loaded. The handle of this faucet started leaking within a few weeks of use. The leak started slowly - one drop at a time. Over the next month, the rate increased. After only 3 months of use, it is dripping at a rate faster than 1 drop per second. Without leaving a cloth underneath the faucet handle, a puddle quickly covers the counter. It is causing the sink caulking to rot. Very disappointed. Expected better from Kohler. Will not purchase again.

Great faucet for the best price by a long shot
After a very easy installation we wre enjoying this faucet, but after a couple of days my wife noticed the spray head would not go all the way back in. I found that the weight for retracting the hose had slipped passed the ty-wrap provided to hold it in place & got jammed inside the body of the faucet. I just had to secure it another way and it's been great

It's nice and tall (but not too tall) but taller than ...
This completely and totally enhanced my new kitchen. It's nice and tall (but not too tall) but taller than many others with a SOLID feeling. You can swing it side to side with ease, pull out the water head and get into those really hard to clean areas. The part that you can pull out is pretty long and very solid as well.Overall, we love it. Would highly recommend.

Very quality feel
Great tap and has a very nice quality feel to the overall construction. Minor downsides are that it requires plumbers putty for installation into 3 hole sinks and none is included. Very little is needed for install so a small packet would be a nice touch. Another small thing to make me deduct 1 star is that when the tap is closed, a little more water drips out than the old one that it replaced, but I guess thats due to the hose feature.
