Expensive.Not Amazon's fault, HP propriety issue.What the companies need to do is to give us a refund on turning in the empty toner cartridges the way we return empty bottles for a refund. Let's help the environment by recycling. When you buy a toner cartridge you are paying for the toner and the cartridge.The HP printer has been designed to use a specific size of powder in the toner that will give you an excellent printout coverage and it is a patented process so no one else can use this formula. You cannot really see the difference with a black knock off but when you are replacing colour toner cartridges you can actually see the colour rendition on your printout is not up to par.
