this is a delicious product - not too sweet, but flavorful.

Delicious
Best of the elderflower syrups out there; got it because this is the one they use at Chez Panisse. Really delicious. Can replace simple in any drink, or St. Germaine / other for a lower ABV mix. Also good with soda water.

This is the one!
This is the highest quality of Elderflower syrup I have found. I've tried Monin, in a pinch, and the flavor and viscosity are not the same as this brand. The viscosity is smooth, not thick like others. The taste is more authentic in my opinion. I have done side-by-side comparisons. This is one to have on hand at any time.

It's simply divine
In Europe Elderflower grows in abundance and fills the air with the most wonderful scent in spring. The blossoms look like tiny little stars and form huge clusters, so they are very easy to pick. Almost every house used to have an eldertree at the entrance and since the black berries are irresistable to birds in autumn they popped up everywhere. When I'm in Europe in spring, I make my own syrup, otherwise I buy this one. It's as good as the homemade version. I have no idea why elderflower isn't more popular in the US. All my friends go totally gaga when I give them my elderflower water or "Hugo" to try. Elderflower has a very distinct taste and married with some lemon and a few mint leaves you will get a delicious, thirst quenching drink. Now to get a grown-up version you just add some white wine, the amount is to your liking, or some prosecco to the elderflower, lemon and mint leaves mix. I'm sure it will be picked up by some fancy cooks and hailed as THE discovery quite soon. Last year elderflower was, all of a sudden, so popular in the UK that they couldn't keep up with the demand. Try it, I'm absolutely sure you won't be disappointed.

Lovely, subtle, and powerful
Yes, it's expensive, but what a wonderful flavor, and it's very concentrated, so not much is needed to have a lot of the flavor in your drink, if that's what you're using it for. Of course, that's a matter of taste. I like things like flavored seltzer, or 16 ounces of water with half an orange squeezed in. This is a sweet syrup, but if you're accustomed to commercial sodas and such (since they have a ton of sugar and they're not very subtle with their flavors) I wouldn't recommend using a lot of this to get the desired sweetness level, but instead use a little of this and pour in more sugar... and then the next time you try, use a little more of this and a little less sugar, and see how it goes.

Delicious syrup, low quality lid
I love this stuff for making mocktails. It has just the right flavor and sweetness! The thing I don't like is that the bottle is too tall to stand up in my fridge and the lid doesn't screw on very tight, so it leaks if I lay it on its side.

Delicious Summer Beverage
We discovered this delicious drink at a restaurant in Budapest. Put about 2 tbsp in a glass, then add about 8 oz. of chilled sparkling water for a very light and refreshing beverage.
