SCT Proper Pork Crackling - Available Different Flavors - Keto, Gluten & Allergen Free, Low Carb, High Protein - Handmade in Britain With Family Recipe (Classic Salted, 4 x 100g pots)

I bought the salted version because they claim to be allergy free, with nothing added but salt. Unfortunately, this is not the case. They contain rapeseed oil, seasoning, hydrolysis protein, flavouring E621/E535. All of those ingredients added up to an allergic reaction from me within a few minutes.I emailed the seller asking them to revise their listing, but received no answer, and the listing still says allergy free and no other additives than salt. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

If you are like me and have a place in thought that pork crackling /scratchings are gross, then this review is for you.Delivered on time in packaging that is protective and not overpackaged.I purchased the salted flavour.When they arrived and i unpackaged, i had to work on my brain to actually eat them, this took a little while.Glad that i did, because these little fat bombs are, or should i say were, DELICIOUS!Some are really crunchy, some crunchy with a little pork meat (its dark in colour) and others with a mix of really crunchy and bubbly soft crunch ( these were the bits that had the fried fat), some even resembled quavers crisps.Overall the mix was great.The only REAL CONCERNING downsides are, that it contains E numbers: E621=MSG and E535=Sodium ferrocyanide. NOT COOL. Also, its fried in rapeseed oil, which is an inflammatory substance that NO ONE should use to fry with. WHY CAN'T PORK SCRATCHINGS BE SIMPLY MADE: C'MON PEEPS!The company are recognised as being KETO friendly, however, the standard of Keto ought to be considered. This is NOT clean keto.Will i buy again? No, howver this is down to the fact that i value my longterm health and i prefer to have as clean food as i can. If this means i go without, then go without i shall.Hope this helps folks

I bought these as firstly they were gluten free as we have a coeliac in the family and secondly because with the air tight tubs, you can just pop the lid on once you've had enough, saves messing around with ziplock bags. Another added bonus with them being in tubs is that they stack well in kitchen cupboards rather than bags slipping down everywhere. We eat pork scratchings regularly but specifically wanted some for a low carb chicken recipe, can safely say that not only did they work brilliantly for the chicken but are also very nice to eat as a low carb snack. I wont be buying any other from now on, price was reasonable, taste is great and arrived in 2 days.
