Gotta try em! Wonderful flavor, texture, and size is smaller than a beefsteak tomato. Juice from these (use a juicer after par boiling to remove stem, skin, and blemishes. then boil down 50% add small amounts of salt, lemon juice, and white or brown sugar (usually about 1/2 cup sugar, 2 TBs lemon juice, 1 to 5 tsp salt to 9 quarts: i.e. not much) is wonderful and many folks use it alone for Bloody Marys. One more thing. If they are close to ripe and it rains, or will rain early evening, pick them NOW! They WILL Split, and Split badly they do. So pick early if necessary and ripen on the window sill.
