Perfect Watch to Learn Military (24 Hour) Time
Okay, here's my take. First off, it keeps excellent time, and is a pleasant looking watch. Yes, I wish the watch were about 5mm larger. That being said, I still like it, and, yes, as a Navy Diver I have several large, heavy wathces. Sometimes I like riding my V-twin, other times I like hopping on my Burgman 400 scooter, if you get what I mean. This watch is one of a few analog watches with military time. Though small, it does not look like a girls watch as some have stated. There is no way you can look at the military time, and think it looks like a girls watch. I don't find the band to be cheap, though it is thin and flexible, which may be confused with cheap, as some have also stated. The face is easily scratched, and I already did, though in my line of work I have also marred glass faces before as well. The measurements are deceiving, whether intentional or not. Stated case size = 37.5 mm. Outside case= 34mm (36mm if you include the crown, which I'm sure they do). Actual Face=29mm, measured with a Starrett Micrometer. The bottom line: It's a light, and comfortable watch. If you can live with the size, it's an excellent choice for the price. Because of the military (24 hr) time, I would buy it again. I actually did purchase another one for my grandson to learn military time, as his Dad is in the Coast Guard. It also has the 12 hr time markings on the inside of the 24 hr markings, albeit a little smaller. This makes it a perfect watch for someone to learn Military time.

Takes a dunking and keeps on ticking...
I bought this watch because the one I bought a year ago, same model but with a white face, got lost. The day after the new watch arrived, lo and behold, my wife found the first watch in the bottom of the dryer, having gone through the wash in a jeans pocket. It was still working fine, even after a drubbing and a baking. These are very inexpensive watches but of high quality. They are durable, "water resistant", and apparently heat resistant as well. They keep accurate time, and the battery may last a long time, reportedly about 5-6 years, since there's no light to waste your electrons. Kinda hard to see the time in the dark because there is no luminescent dial or hands. but hey, it only cost $9 and it got here in two days! I also like that they are very light weight, and the strap, although plastic, is relatively soft, flexible and comfortable. Note that the watch is pretty small compared to most of the other clunky monsters you see out there, and if you have big burly hands and wrists, it may seem a bit too small.

Good value
I was looking for a reliable yet inexpensive watch. I settled on the 3 Casio watches that look like this and chose this one of the three. There's the white faced, the black faced, and this one is the yellow faced w/24 hour numbering. (some pictures of this are over exposed. The face is what I'd call a yellowish wheat color. Quite nice.) All three likely have the same internal mechanism. My watch was unexpectedly light in weight which is a huge bonus in my book. The band was cheap as hell, but I chose the "Watch Band Genuine Leather 16mm Black Classical Vegetable oil treated durable double stitched and padded with gold plated buckle" sold by Watchmaterial here on Amazon. Now I have a nice watch that looks like $1-200 bucks, and I'm out $20. So, buy one of these el cheapo Casio watches, buy a 16mm (width) watch band to replace the really cheap band Casio sells with these, and you'll look like $1-200 also. Plus, if you damage it or drop it in the toilet, just spend another $10. I'm considering buying the black one next. I might like that better. My educated guess is that I'll get 5 years out of this one and will likely retire it when the cheap crystal gets too scratched. I give this product Three Thumbs Up!!! 3-14-12 -- Edit to add: This watch keeps virtually perfect time. Only my cell phone, ipod, and my computer, which are all synched constantly, do a better job. It's within seconds of the computer time when I adjust it twice a year for the time changes. The "crystal" is becoming moderately scratched so I thought I'd buy another watch. Quite likely yours will suffer premature battery failure as mine did, but it's pretty inexpensive to buy 2 watch batteries on Amazon for a couple of bucks. When I buy my second watch I'll probably just put that second fresh battery in it and it should be good for 3+ years. Good deal? You bet.

No-frills watch at a bargain price, recommended for anyone looking for a budget wristwatch
For the money, it's really hard to beat Casio watches. I now own several, including this one, which I bought mostly because I liked the unusual, yellow-colored watch face. Actually, it looks more like antique white to me, which matches nicely with the clean numbers on the face, combining to give a pleasant, subtly vintage look to the watch. The case measures approximately 1 7/16" across at the crown, which makes it just a bit smaller than I like, but this is in no way a fault of the watch; if you prefer watches with smaller cases, this will work perfectly for you. I also noticed that the band seemed a bit small. It barely fit my wrist, and I'm an average-size guy at 6'tall and 175lbs. I suspect it was sized for smaller people, and would work equally well for men as for women. The watch keeps excellent time, as is usual for Casio watches, and the dial is clean and uncluttered, with not even a date window to complicate things. The overall weight is extremely light, being made largely of plastic, though I have not found this to compromise toughness or durability on Casio watches in the past. They just plain work, and work well. For the very modest price - around $10 - it's very hard to beat these watches, as long as they fit your wrist.

Eureka!
I finally found it! What has to be the cheapest, flimsiest watch band ever known to western man! That being said, you'll note I still gave this watch 3 stars. It is what it is, as the cliche' goes. For an $8.95 watch, this fits the bill as a work in the yard/garage knock around watch. It is water resistant (which means oil resistant) and in spite of the smaller than expected face, it is readable and has a pleasant "wheat" color to it dial. Right out of the box, I saw the good and bad in this inexpensive timepiece and immediately ordered a cheap "Swiss Type" nylon and pleather 16mm band (from Amazon, of course). So, for $20 I have a custom watch which I think will take a reasonable beating thus saving wear and tear on my better watches. It has a plastic crystal, is super lightweight and likely will not become a family heirloom. But, it fills a need and looks decent with the addition of the better watchband. If, like me, you are a person who feels lost without a watch and need an inexpensive beater, this will fit the bill. But, I cannot emphasize enough how cheesy and cheap the band is. It takes a 16mm and if you order this watch, consider picking out a $10 band to go with it. You will the have $20-ish invested, so when shopping for comparable watches keep that price point in mind. Or, if a super thin and lightweight plastic band is what you want, $8.95 on Amazon will get you into this watch, ready to wear. I hope this review is of help to you.

Really nice watch, but I do wish it was bigger. 5 stars overall!!
This is a very nice watch, though as many call this a very small watch to be called a “mens watch” but I’d say that I wouldn’t go any smaller. It’s smaller than what I’m used to having and I may wanna look into getting some reading glasses later on if I plan on keeping this watch for long. This is actually the only budget analog watch I could find with the main dial being in 24 hr format, this watch itself isn’t a “true” 24 hr analog watch, if only Casio made one(I wish), but I still like it. Though the dial is small it’s not very difficult to read and I’m already familiar with how the 24 hr format works, so reading time on this watch isn’t very difficult to understand, but it would’ve been nice if they just made the dial completely from 1-24 instead of 2 separate dials 13-24/1-12. The 1-12 dials are very tiny while the 13-24 dials are bigger. I don’t have too much of a problem with that, but if they wanted to make an analog watch with 24 hr format, in my opinion they should’ve made a true 24 hr analog watch. Talking about size of the watch, in the photos I’ve put on this review I compared it with my G-Shock GW-6900. If you’re familiar with that watch then you can get a good idea of size comparison. Overall it’s a nice watch, I like it for being unique for having 2 dials and making the 13-24 the main dial, but I do wish that it was bigger. Hopefully Casio will make a version of this watch or a true 24 hr analog watch that’ll be bigger than this one, not just for the looks but for the dial to be bigger as well and for functionality.

soddisfatta
L'ho acquistato come "orologio da tutti i giorni" e funziona molto bene, il cinturino non si sporca e mi sembra piuttosto solido. Carina la grafica del quadrante, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nothing beats a Casio
Well made and the most accurate watch I own. Loses only a few seconds a month. Fits well, but not for large forearms. It is a small watch.

A small thing of beauty
Been looking for this specific MQ24. It’s finally here and I love every single thing about it. If you’re planning to get this, ensure that you like smaller sized watch. My wrist size should be average I think and it still fits nicely. The watch also came with everything including the box although it wasn’t as a box which I don’t really mind as it’s going to my case. For the sellers, I wish go-en with you and your business! Would buy from them again for sure :)
