The Special Edition Spark is a fun and affordable way to capture selective focus images with digital SLRs. Compared to the regular Spark, it features a faster optic, with the added versatility of interchangeable aperture disks and a selection of creative apertures. The Special Edition Spark features a 50mm f/2 selective focus optic and a tilting lens body, allowing the photographer to capture creative images in-camera that have a sharp sweet spot of focus, surrounded by blur. The lens includes three regular apertures and nine specially shaped creative apertures. Shapes cut into the apertures will appear anywhere bright points of light are out of focus in an image (i.e., decorative lights at night or the sun shining through leaves). Apertures drop into the front of the lens and are held in place by shielded magnets. A tool is included to swap out the disks.

Highly recommend it for experimenting and fun shooting
I love it... IT IS AN UNUSUAL LENS AND IT DOES REQUIRE GETTING USED TO IT, but I didn't get ir right the first few times I used it, focusing is a bit tricky, but as soon as you get a hang of it, you will love the distortion and super narrow depth of field.

Fun for adults and kids
When the lighting is just right and you are either fast enough with kids, or have a stationary object this is a pretty fun lens. My kids like it a lot and they like to try to get the focus right so they can see whichever pattern they choose. It is something different and fun.
