DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT DUE TO EXTREMELY POOR PACKING
I purchased this setup for my granddaughter after talking to my daughter who had purchased an acoustic bass from same maker. It is a beautiful unit and plays well. She had no issues with Amazon with that purchase and it was packed very well to prevent any shipping damage. This beginners electric guitar and the setup it came with was ideal for my soon to be 12-yr old granddaughter. However, the packing was nonexistent which contained a large box (with no packing material) inside of which was another box and since there was no packing to hold it in place it easily moved around within the larger box. Also contained within the larger box was the small amplifier in a box, but the picks, the tuner, the strap were all just floating within the larger box. To make it less cumbersome for my granddaughter to open and reduce the possibility of damaging it, I removed the larger exterior box, then the interior box, which left the guitar inside yet another smaller box...with a small piece of plastic which did nothing to protect the electric guitar. Initially the guitar looked really nice, and had a nice baby blue finish. However, on closer inspection the paint on the upper side where the body curved down had been smacked leaving a small circular indent cracking the finish about 1/2 to 1 inch in circumference. I have been a long time Amazon customer and spent a significant amount of money over the years ordering products from you. In all that time I can only recall one other incident I received something that was damaged, and a few other times the sizes of clothing, or the product was not as advertised. Amazon always reacted favorably to me and am expecting a similar response on this. The boxes were put outside as soon as I removed them and typical in Houston this time of year we had a thunderstorm...so no shipping containers. The guitar, amp, picks, tuners, stand all look fine (at least for the price I paid for them) so the only issue is that dent.

one of the best for price a fat meaty neck feels much like a name brand strat
guitar came set up good pickups sound very good at this price stays in tune pretty well for this price lighter than a regular strat bodies good though and pretty flawless and i say one best kits this price for the way guitar sounds plays and built and amps not to bad cool little amp convient and easy take anywhere and just loud enough to easily take and be able to play just as easy as and acoustic with a hard case cause guitar very light amps little and loud enough to take to friends or anywhere and people be able to hear you play everything about this guitar at this price is great kit bodies thick neck is pretty chucky and id say in the middle a little fatter than a fender strat neck fret ends didnt stick out to bad love the way this guitar played it played very well just the way it was out of box felt much like fender strat just not as heavy id say a good copy though for the price i little thicker neck in the middle but much like a great copy of a more exspensive fender strat

Great beginner guitar, but upgrade the amp & cable
This is a great kit for beginners. Left handers don’t have many choices when it comes to guitars, but this Sawtooth is sure to please most lefty beginners. It is also very attractive. The painted head really sets it off.Is it perfect? Nah, but do you get your money’s worth? Yeah! The finish is beautiful. Mine came with a few flaws in the paint job (tiny) on the front, but no biggy. The guitar is the star in the kit—really great at this price point. The frets are easy on the hands. It’s really fun to play. The top strap button was not installed properly (stripped), but is any easy fix (YouTube is your friend—wood glue and toothpicks). Also impressed with the gig bag—very sturdy, lots of storage, Velcro strap for the head, lots of handles. The guitar stand is great too. The guitar in the bag can sit on the guitar stand with no problem (stable). The bag and stand are good enough I bought another set for my other guitar. The guitar tuner works really well. It will take a month or two of break in and string stretching before the guitar will stay in tune. The amp and cable are acceptable, but the first things to upgrade because a better amp and cable cut down on single coil buzz and make the guitar sound so much better (almost returned mine before I tried another amp and realized the guitar was fine, the amp was the buzz maker). The amp sounds much better if you use headphones (cuts way down on the buzz). It may be that I was sent a buzzy amp too—your mileage may vary. The other items in the kit are great and are enough to get started without additional purchases (may need a music stand). Either way, young or old, this is a wonderful place to start. Thanks, Sawtooth!

12 year guitarist review
It’s lightweight and comfortable to play. Beautiful strat style black and chrome look.I’ll be honest though, the amp isn’t for more advanced players. Also, the amp had given out after 3 days of use even with a new battery.I like that it came with a tuner and picks with a cord and strap. The strap is low quality but works, different sized picks and whammy bar.Had to get an on tune for the bridge and action for it to really play well. The string worked and none were snapped when I got it. Neck is well built. Has very slight cable distortion when moving around. I suggest a braided cord.It came with a stand and gig bag. The stand is great but the gig bag isn’t good. Both zippers for the gig bag broke off.All in all, it was worth the money for a beginner and can the guitar can improve when you get it. Takes some work. The shipping was horrible for the usps store. It took almost a month.

Quality and Value means no interest in music and hidden talent.
This was a birthday gift from the family for a 13 year old who is getting back into music on his own desires. This was an upgrade for him and on the first day be could not put the guitar down for 6 hours. I asked if it was an upgrade from his previous and his response was "OHHH YAHHHH" with a smile. For the cost, the value of this guitar package is awesome - the guitar is solid and looks great, it tune sup nicely, the amp is small but powerful and for a house or room a perfect size and all the accessories from the stand to the straps are good and solid. This package comes highly recommended by the user and no regrets on choosing this over Xbox1.

What the.....
This bundle is clearly not its price $ 573 but at $ 160 (the price I got it with the 'discount') this is probably what it is actually worth. The price I got it, this is what has given him the 2nd star. For: - beautiful look- not too much crap on the finish (even if I received it with a rope that had a fold)- comes with lots of starting somethingCons: - Very audible interference noise (especially if I compare it to an Epiphone Les Paul Junior that comes with Rocksmith) it is on the amp or Rocksmith- Crappy amp (The sound interference almost buries the sound of the guitar)- The tremolo was screwed to death, so not functional.- Light, leaving me doubt the quality of woodIn short, to make it correct, he'll have to change the strings and isolated. For the amp, nothing to do, I'll probably try to sell it or give it to someone

You get what you pay for.
Have had my guitar for some time now.-Very light-Decent pick guard-Very hard to get some cables out of the jack-Strap holders were not great.-Included strap broke while playing and almost broke my guitar. I ended up buying a new strap with strap locks-Paint is not durable-Sound not great-Included tuner is good-Included cable was fine-Good collection of picks-Relatively wide fret spaces-I would have put a 2.5 star instead of 2.-Would have been a better investment for me to get a more expensive guitar

Perfect practice amp, guitar needs some work.
For my use, this does the job. I plan on changing the gear inside for some flashier and more reliable parts. I love the colour and all the gear it comes with, considering how expensive just a gig bag and guitar stand would cost alone. Even from the same company, buying those two parts separate would be half the cost I paid for the whole package. Mine did not come with picks though. You can get a good practice amp out of the little amp included, just hook up a small effects unit before the input. The distortion setting is too noticeable on the amp, even clocked at 1, it is very noticeable. So plan to have your own distortion pedal. The construction of the guitar is well, what you should expect. It is extremely light, but goes out of tune very fast if you like to strangle the neck like Homer Simpson does to Bart.
