Enhanced Due Diligence - The Complete BSA/AML Desktop Reference

This is book is definitely a reference book but it's outdated. There are more books outhere that are current.

This book although pricey I found to be the most practical guide on the AML market. I have not found anything more straight to the point with good examples then in this book.I found it to be more help-full then the long winded, boring and expensive courses provided by ACAMS.

Great book for professionals in FIU, AML.

I thought highly of the SAR book by the same author, so I purchased the EDD book as well. This book also is a collection of information available concerning EDD for high-risk customers, but like the authors' SAR book, it is distilled and is a one-stop reference. Much of the book is dedicated to describing methods for assessing individual customer risk and keeping things simple in order to ensure that the principals are actually practical to implement and sustain. There are sample EDD reviews which you can easily adapt for training purposes and for your own reviews. The usual cast of high-risk customers (MSBs, PEPS, CIBs, Charities/NGOs, FCBs, etc.) are all dealt with. The book gives item-by-item information to consider in designing risk models for each customer type. I am not usually effusive in reviews and for that matter, I usually don't write them....but in the AML space, I have to date not seen as detailed a treatment of EDD or a more practical guide to implementing it as is presented in this book.
