Perfect solution for my 2014 Toyota Tundra
I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra SR5. My rear view mirror has a compass and buttons for opening garage doors. This adaptor works perfectly to power my windshield mounted dashcam. Now, instead of running the cable from the dashcam around the edge of the windshield to the dashboard and eventually to a power source, this adaptor allows me to use the factory power source that was intended for the mirror for both the mirror and my dashcam. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I could not be happier with this adaptor.

Easier than plugging in a router on my 2022 Toyota Tacoma
All dashcam installs should be this easy. Took longer to adhere the dashcam to the windshield than it did to plug in this adapter. So glad I saw this on Chloe Kuo's video before routing a long wire around the headliner and taking up my cigarette lighter.

Works for 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD with one problem
It worked to power dash cam for 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD. It powers the dash cam as it should but while doing so, my automatic high beam doesn’t work. The high beam works again if i unplug the power for the dash cam. Not sure if it was a problem for other people. Could it be issue with my dash cam drawing too much power ?

Perfect for a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. This is essentially "plug and play", taking about five minutes to get this installed and working.

Disables the home control rear view mirror buttons, 2023 Tacoma TRD offroad
Works as USB power for dash cam. But it disables the rear view mirror home control automation buttons on the mirror. So if you have a garage door opener programmed to it, it won't work anymore. I pulled the Dongar out and re-plugged the vehicle connector, and the buttons and power to them came right back, so it's the Dongar that is the problem. Despite what Dongars' website says, it's not compatible with a 2023 Tacoma TRD offroad.UIPDATE. It helps if you push it all the way in. Works fine now
