Goddess Athena Statue with an Owl and Carrying a Spear

It's an absolutely beautiful little statue, exactly as in the picture, only the statue was in one half of the polystyrene box and the owl was in the other. Either needs to be secured more firmly or to be carefully surrounded with padded wrap. Or both. A drop of superglue will I'm sure solve it. Not an enormous problem: a statue by definition sits in one place, not moved around all the time, for loose bits to fall off every time it's moved.

I just got the statue today and it looks like the picture (aside from a slightly squashed looking face). But I was very disappointed to find it wasn’t made of bronze. It feels more like plastic.

A pleasure to own - and after all, who dare argue with the magnificent Athena?

It lovely real heavy
