I can only give this 3 stars because 2 of the 3 functions actually, well, function. The clock keeps time, and the date progresses like it should. However, I can not set the day of week, nor does it change. It will just always be "WED" according to my watch.This is far better than the timex I bought a few weeks ago, that would just stop multiple times a day, straight from the box.I'm a long time timex wearer, and have purchased many over the years. I've always appreciated the value and reliability. No longer. This will be my last. Without reliability, there's no value. I will be putting that $70+ towards a more expensive watch that does what it's supposed to. Really timex, you had one job...tell the time. In an era where watches will monitor your sleep, check your cholesterol, and order a pizza; get your sh!+ together Timex.

I wanted the Indiglo light, day and date, and enough water resistance to go snorkeling, all in a decent looking package. Mission accomplished. The day and date are not easy to read and aren't visible when using the light but I'm happy with the watch.

Nice looking watch. I like the built in light however it arrived defective. The day of the week can't be adjusted when pulling out the crown. It should be able to adjust at the 1st pull click. The date and time does change/adjust. I spoke to customer service to confirm I was setting it correctly and I was. Returned it.

I had ordered this watch as it seems Timex is trying to take a step in the direction of respectable, higher quality watches. They mostly have it right here.I'm a huge fan of the day/date on this watch. However, finding the click on the knob to adjust the day was difficult. The backlight isn't too bright, but does come across as an soft glow - not as harsh as the backlight in the weekend watches.I like the dark watch face and elegant dial hands. The case is heavy and feels like it is made a higher quality than you'd find in watches of similar price (MVMT, etc).I'm really not a fan of the band. It feels light, as if it is made of hollow links. When adjusting the links to fit, the pins were very soft metal. The band did not match the quality I would expect when looking at this watch. I know you can get better quality metal link bands for less than $15 from other sellers on Amazon, but it's silly to have to do that after buying this watch for $70+.By the way, the Timex manufacturer warranty does NOT cover these bands if you do have a problem and need a replacement.

Always difficult to see in a photo but the stainless steel bracelet is very smart and matches the watch perfectly. I was determined to have another Indiglo backlight watch and only Timex make them. So it was a case of choosing from the hundreds of styles. Very few shops in my area stock Timex watches and even less who stock the more expensive Timex watches so I purchased from Amazon, delivered next day. A very satisfied customer.
