My daughter fancies herself a princess and a ballerina and I couldn't get her hair into a nice bun to save my life. I spotted this set and thought it seemed like just what I needed to start tackling the styles she wanted me to do so badly. I recommend getting a set of those clear little plastic hair bands to secure hair when using the tools. It took me a couple of tries, but I've mastered the bun (photo attached) and my daughter is thrilled. A tip for making a great bun-- tuck all the ends in right away and don't worry about spreading the hair over the thing until you've rolled it a couple times. I was also happy to have extras of some of the tools that I could have in both our bathrooms, bun tools for both her and I and some extra pieces to share with my niece. Overall, a VERY good price and a great set.

I haven't used the items as yet.got them for granddaughter ,the only instructions that came with item was in chinese,which would have been ok if I could read chinese.,if they are going to sell to other people that perhaps don't speak their language,I think it would be extremely helpful to include instructions in english .,would i recommend this to anyone else ,only if I knew they spoke chinese.

The things you use to make a bun did not end up snapping to be able to make a bun. No clear directions. Unless you can speak whatever Asian language this is in, don’t waste your money. It doesn’t come with directions for all of the tools either, and by directions I mean pictures that are hard to make out to see exactly what’s going on.

Well, the instructions are definitely not in English, soooo besides the bun makers (because I have those from a different order) I have no idea what I am doing with the tools... they look like they could do some fun stuff though

The value is work it, only thing I like is the threaders or loopers and the bun makers, the zig zag things are so hard. I can't do it on my hair at all. Its so hard, photos look easy on you tube. ITS NOT.
