The best you can get
If you want a cover that adds class and aesthetics thus is a must have. It is very sturdy and clean looking. I know it cost more than the average cover but I think the quality and strength of structure are worth it. Installed the matte black cover on a 2019 Ram 3500 MegaCab.I was able to do it myself in under an hour (with the help of the winch in my garage). I wanted to include pictures of the clearance of the fifth wheel hitch since this cover fits flush with the bed. One of the pictures I took with the cover locked over the hitch for a visual of the clarence and the others are fully opened or closed. The only issue I had is my truck doesn't have any place for the drain tubes so I'll eventually have to punch some holes in the bed. We have had a couple of light snow storms this year with the most being 6 inches the cover kept the inside of the bed bone dry and no flex of the cover under the weight if the snow. This is installed on my wife's truck (she's 5'5 and 125 lbs (I put that in just for protective, not because she's weak))and she has no problems with opening or closing the cover it rolls nicer than my garage door. The only issue is when you lock it in a position that is not fully open or closed the lock is a little difficult you have to use the key to lock it in place, I was hoping you could just push down the lever and be good. This is a minor thing that we just need to get use to. I have seen questions if the tie downs are still accessible and the are but as you can see in the pictures on my truck they are under the cover canister but plenty of room to access them, as you can see I use one to secure the hitch since no one makes locks for that style hitch yet. I spent a little extra and got the cover that has the rack compatible rails (not included) for potential future use, better to have it than regret it later. I also wanted the aluminum instead of the composite, my brother has the composite cover on his truck and it is showing a little rub wear on the slats. Overall the wife and I are happy with the quality and the classiness of the cover, it is the truck accessory that I think makes the truck look even better than it did from the factory. You may lose a little cargo space but I think you lose some on all types of covers. I spent several months looking at covers and trying to find a cheaper alternative but couldn't find anything that looked as good, was built as good, or had great reviews as this one. So just buy it already.

Retrax Pro MX Tonneau Cover
I went ahead and spent the extra money to get a Retrax Pro Cover. It is very well built and designed. It came packaged in very sturdy cardboard boxes so there was no problem with the shipping. Installation was very simple and my son and I had it together and installed in about 45 minutes (taking our time to make sure we didn't miss anything). I love how it works and how it looks. Everything is as advertised. I only gave it four stars for the price because they charged me $230 extra to get the matte black finish instead of the glossy black finish. Not sure why matte black costs so much more. One other thing I did notice, is that when I retract the cover after a steady rain, if I don't wipe the water off the top before retracting, the water flings off the cover as it retracts into the housing, and goes into the front of the bed all the way across. I think they should make the housing a little higher on the hidden side to catch all the water flinging off the aluminum slats as they roll up into the housing. That way, the water would go into the housing and out the drain lines rather then running down the outside of the housing into the bed of the truck. Anyway, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Love this Cover
Installed this on my 2018 RAM 2500. I took my time installing and even installed by myself but would say for most folks it would be wise to have two people. My first order for this product came with badly damaged boxes and ended up in a big dent in the cover but Amazon graciously replaced and second cover was in perfect shape. I was very happy to see that this cover fit perfectly and was easy to install. I have taken to an automated carwash which used high pressure water and high pressure air blowers and to my surprise I only saw a few drips of water in the bed of my truck. Quite impressive and would believe that under normal rain conditions I probably will not see anything at all. Just a note that I did purchase a tailgate seal kit from ESI (Extruded Solutions Inc) which just about made my truck bed completely dry. Very sturdy product and when driving down the road I cannot hear no vibrating noises coming from the cover like other product reviews I have read. Just take your time installing and install the ESI kit and you will have no water in your bed.

Disapointment
When the box arrived and my 9 yr old son said, “Dad, there’s a hole in the box” and I said I know, it was an ominous sign. After unboxing and having the 2nd person there to witness the embarrassment, who was there to help me install, boom the forklift dent, its it the bottom back of the real, potentially not a huge deal but after shelling out more than 2k, ridiculous, but potentially if it doesn't affect the function and I cant see it, we carry on, uh oh no rails or mounting hardware. I bought this to protect my tools in my truck bed, I don't know who failed or why but I couldn't have been more disappointed, in what looks to be a solid product, guess I’ll wait for the refund and try again?

Overall good product, very appealing to the eye fairly easy to install but has a few downsides.
Overall good product, very appealing to the eye fairly easy to install. Downside is the locking mechanism is not the best (not as strong as you would expect and requires more force to engage), one of my clamps that hold it to the bed had to be reinstalled and also the drain tubes fall down sometimes. Works great for my use but I feel it is a bit overpriced.
