GAEMS G155 Sentry Personal Gaming Environment

I bought this unit so I can take my PS3 slim with me when I travel for work. The G155 Sentry reaches above and beyond my expectations. The HD monitor is top notch if you play in front of it. On the angle, it gets a little dark so if you're playing a two player game, it could be a handicap. The sound is what really is amazing. It is so crisp and can pump up to very loud volumes. The console and its wiring fits perfectly and the case itself is well-constructed and looks like it could take a beating. Surprisingly, even with the system in tow, the weight is still pretty light. The style of the case has a really cool logo on it too. Extra bonus is that you can use it as a second TV in your home. My girlfriend can watch Sex and the City for the hundredth time while I pulverize zombies all in the same room, so no more earful complaints that I'm not spending time with her. Success! Love it. Great product. Unbeatable value. A must buy for regular travelers or for those with nagging significant others.

This device is awesome. I was browsing amazon deals and this was discounted. Never even thought they had this type of thing. I am a security guard with allot of down time on post. This is perfect. I received it 2 days earlier than expected and it was easy to setup. The cons that I posted should not be taken negatively but rather a thought. If you plan to purchase just know that it's bulky.I would recommend this and I love this. Perfect for any on the go gamer.

I love my GAEMS. I had been debating on whether or not to purchase the G155 sentry or the newer model, but after analyzing the specs for both, this really was the better deal. I am beyond thrilled with everything about it. The screen is great, clear with good colors. Everything fits perfectly in the carrying case. The product fit my PS4, controller, PS platinum headset, a 10 ft HDMI cable (I brought this extra for a separate TV, the system has it's own HDMI cable included), charge cables for controller and headset as well as 4-5 games. Everything fit and nothing moved around. I had no lag (on the gaming unit end, hotel WI-FI is a whole 'nother story) while playing Overwatch or watching netflix. All in all this is a fantastic unit for the price. I would absolutely buy again and love my portable unit!

Got this for my son for xmas he really likes it. The screen has a good HD image; the sound from the built-in speakers is okay, but not the best. There was one dead pixel on the screen, but my son hasn't noticed it yet. I would have been bummed if I had got it for myself, but as long as he's happy...Overall it works well and enables my son to play games while the rest of the family os watching TV.

it is a unacceptable very poor quality screen, well...the quality of the whole thing which is ok, it supposes to be a really good product can enjoy the game in my own small room. But the screen is really really bad, there is so much shadow that on the screen, i don't know how to explain it, it it like so much dry water mark inside the screen. The photo I took can just show a little bit of the situation, but the fact is but worse than that. Please do not choose this thing if you do have other choice.

The good:It's portable.The bad:Speakers are terrible.Screen is even worse.Latches are definitely not secure.I get the fact that there aren't alot of options for an item like this. But for 300$ I expect more. Upgrade the screen and speakers to something more modern and re engineer the case and this would be a good product.

I WOULD give it a 4.. It's a great invention, and it works. The picture is sharp and sound is great- When I can hear it.My sound will not work unless I mess around with the headphone jack for about 20 seconds at a time, I have to do this every 15 minutes or so.Also, the valcro straps inside are incredibly hard to put back in place after accidently removing them, which can happen often.

This was actually purchased by my 11 yr-old son and WE both LOVE it! I read many reviews before I finally succumbed to the pressure a kiddo can have and I'm glad that I did. Since most of the reviews seemed to be remarks on the latches and screen, I took some precautionary measures before I would let him use it. I happened to have an old velour pillow cover from a contour neck pillow and it fits in the case perfectly, so it is his task to make sure everything is packed like it's supposed to and then he places the cover between the xBox and the screen to protect the screen. We also found that if you make sure to line the case up properly when closing it, the latches stay hooked unless they are bumped by something. All in all, we have found this to be a great unit...good sound, good picture and will come in handy on our Southern Cali trip this summer!
