Not made for Swingline Power Gun 1000.
The staples good, but they are not made for Swingline Power Gun 1000, the extra heavy duty staple gun.This gun requires WIDE CROWN staples

I believe a good quality staple and it's Swingline which is what I wanted
It was hard to find actual Swingline brand staples for my big heavy duty stapler. Found these and ordered and while I think the staples are fine, it's hard to use because the box was not securely closed, Swingline from the factory should put some sort of seal on these boxes especially because they are heavy. Since the box was open the staples spilled everywhere and are now broken up into smaller sections which makes them hard to use. The staple seems fine and what I've been able to use are working. I stick with brand name staples when I can as too many others just don't have the fit and quality. I will probably just check with office stores next time for these although that means a special 80 miles round trip to the city. In the meantime I'll be using what I can of these.

You must use downward pressure.
Worked great in my old swingline stapler and handled 3/4 inch particle board easily.
