Convenience in cleaning!!
The media could not be loaded. I always wanted one of the famous brands (the one beginning with "D") of this type of vacuum but didn't think i'd get the use out of it, or that it wouldn't be very good, so I couldn't justify spending so much money on one. When I saw this vacuum from Proscenic for such a good price with great reviews I was finally tempted to give it a go. I am so glad that I did, this is a great product which i'd definitely recommend. When the item turned up it was packaged very well in a nice compact box. The vacuum comes in smaller pieces that all clip together nicely so when its made up it feels nice and solid.I've mainly been using the vacuum around the kitchen, its fantastic to whip out after cooking / eating to collect the small bits of food that might have fallen on the floor, or the grass and soil that the kids have trailed into the house. The great thing about it is the convenience of having it to hand - mounted on the wall - so I can grab it and vacuum after every meal. My previous main vacuum is fantastic but it's such a chore to get it out and ready to use. With this one there is no unwinding cables, carrying big heavy vacuums from other rooms, plugging it in, putting it away after. It really is grab and go.Now the most important thing about a vacuum is how well it picks up dirt. On the hard floor in my kitchen it's picked up everything in its path. On my carpets it does a great job of picking up surface dust and dirt but, being battery powered, it doesn't really have the power to get deep down into the pile of the carpet like a mains powered vacuum would. That isn't a criticism of this hoover, just a limitation of battery powered devices in general. In terms of negatives on this vacuum, there aren't too many. The biggest one is that the battery MUST be removed to be charged. It would be much better if it could be charged simply by putting it into its wall mount. Or even if you cold plug the cable into the batter while its still in the vacuum. Its not a biggie though, the battery is very easy to remove - it takes seconds - and it does mean you can buy a spare battery to charge one and use the other. And if the battery ever dies, you can simply replace it yourself. In terms of positives not already mentioned, the brush bar on the motorised head is VERY easy to remove which makes unwrapping my wife & daughters long hairs from it a breeze. The battery seems to last a long time too, I only ever use it on turbo mode and get 20 minutes odd out of it. The head is very maneuverable and goes almost flat too so you can get under beds / chairs. The device is quite quiet in use which is good and the little clip for the tools is great to have them to hand and ready to use. The dust bin looks very small but to be honest it forces you to empty it often and its easy to do so. Finally the vacuum is very light which makes using it in any mode very easy.Overall i'd definitely recommend this vacuum from Proscenic, its made keeping my house clean much easier.

Sadly a disappointment
After reading all the five-star reviews that had been left by previous purchasers of the Proscenic P8 Plus I was really excited to crack it open and have a go. I have long-petitioned in our home for getting a cordless vacuum as our usual uprights are heavy and we have several flights of stairs to contend with.In terms of looks, it was quite attractive. I thought some areas looked a little cheap and was also annoyed to find that it only comes in a shade of pink, neither my wife or I are pink-y people, but aesthetics were not my reason for purchasing this vacuum cleaner. After fully charging the battery I assembled it and pulled the trigger to turn it on.This vacuum is indeed light, and is easily manoeuvrable although I would argue that it is a little over sensitive - when going forward in a straight line, the head swivels from side to side which is a little unnecessary. The suction sadly was a little lacklustre, even when you switch it up to its more powerful setting. It picks up dirt and debris from the top of the carpet (but only after several times going over it). We tested it on our a very short-pile rug yesterday which had a little sawdust on it from our rabbits and it couldn't lift it all no matter how many times we went over it. That being said, it did work nicely on our Amtico flooring, it picked up crumbs and such without almost pulling it up whereas our previous Hoover couldn't sit directly on the floor, it had to rest on the rug whilst using the nozzle extension to pick up fly-away crumbs.I think this vacuum would be a great fit for people who have very little carpet in their home, and want a reasonably priced cordless number. Sadly, it wasn't for us and have had to subsequently return it.

INCREDIBLE PRODUCT
The delivery was superb and quick, the design of this product is also very well thought out and beautiful, the suction power of this vacuum is also extremely powerful. Would recommend for people who are looking for a vacuum for a great value. The battery life of this vacuum is very long lasting aswell, you are able to freely detach and re-attach without any difficulties , yet again very good product for its value definitely would recommend, my wife is very happy with this product also as it is not space consuming at all making it even more convenient, wouldn’t need to worry if you have a small house or flat. Overall I would give this a higher rating if I could but unfortunately it’s not possible. VERY GOOD PRODUCT

Very easy to use
I have a dyson DC49, does excellent job, the only thing bothers me is the plug, especially when move from room to room. And after 5 years use the wheels in the Turbinehead is broken, I checked dyson website costs £55 to get a new Turbinehead. So I think it’s time to try a cordless one!It didn’t disappoint me at all!!! Very light and easy to use. Honestly should not compare the suction power of a cordless one with a plug-in dyson one. Good for the price and does excellent job. I used to worry about the battery can only lasts 20-30 minutes, and I never finish clean my flat in 20 minutes ( I have 2 kids)But seriously don’t need to worry about that at all, as it’s a different story! Can’t image how quick you can move from room to room without a plug!!!!!!!!Also I found I can take out the battery to charge it separately, that means I don’t need to find a place hang the whole thing to charge. Only considering about the battery life and how can I buy a new one.
