This is not going to be your go to for your studio, unless you just like the sound, but it is a Class A stage mike. I have seen the screen beat up and distorted which means it has taken a lot of punishment, but they still worked.

Fantastic Mic, Reasonable Stand, Lightweigth Cable
Perfect kit for the beginner. Fantastic mic for any level!I upgraded my wife to this microphone from a $60 mic. The difference is night and day. Her voice is so full and rich without adding any reverb or other effects. I love this mic!The stand is reasonable. It seems sturdy enough otherwise and is pretty light. It is more than acceptable for home use and local performers. It would not hold up to touring.The cable provides good quality transmission, but it is lightweight. As an electrical engineer, I can tell you that the shielding and the wire gauge are just fine for the short run. The connectors okay, are not the best. But they are more than good enough for a garage band or home use. The cable and jacket are both thin, which means frequent bending, stepping on the cable and other typical use will take a toll more quickly than you would see in higher quality cable. In short, it is a decent cable for gentle use and should provide good transmission for the life of the cable. However, it is clearly a budget cable, not a high quality cable ready for the abuse of stage performances and frequent packing and unpacking.

Very satisfied with the entire package
I purchased this to go along with a Kustom PA50 system for a small, but acoustically-challenged room. The stand was the first thing to impress me. I'm not a sound equipment expert by any stretch, but I have several musician friends and this stand is as good as any I've seen on any stage, and better than some. The package came short the mic cable, but the company corrected that right away after one email. Stuff happens. At least I know the box is packed by people earning a paycheck and not by a machine.Since this is a shared mic owned by the venue, I picked up a package of inexpensive foam windscreens to serve as disposable covers. There was a slight muting effect, as expected, but no loss of quality.
