Just my opinion
I have only had this watch for a week and will give it an honest review. It is a beautiful watch but certainly smaller than I thought it would or should be. I have read other reviews and they mention it has a solid feel to it and I do not agree with that. That's not to say it is a bad thing. I like a bit more heft to my pocket watches.and this just seems like I would completely forget about it while wearing it. Also the clasp on the chain is a spring ring. It seems cheap and untrustworthy. A clip on the chain is much more practical and easier to use. It is a very nice looking and functional watch though. It has truly not lost one second in the week that I have had it. It was easy to set and I really like the weekday function. Although the date is very hard to see. In conclusion it is a very nice looking but smaller pocket-watch. It also does not have a lot of weight to it but maintains time perfectly so far... I would not buy another though. I would buy a Gotham instead. You can get this for less money and it is much better made. Gotham Men's Silver-Tone Blue Dial Covered Quartz Pocket Watch # GWC15042SBL... I am not hyping Gotham watches, however I do own this and am very happy with it. Hopefully this review helps those who are considering buying the Bucasi.Pete GPete G

An outstanding watch.
I recently purchased three pocket watches to replace a nostalgic one I had, vintage 1944. Unless I wanted to pay in excess of $1000, replicating it was impossible. The exposed "inner gear" workings and lack of contrast dials made one impossible to read at certain times of the day. Both of the other watches gained/lost time in small increments on a daily basis. I saw the Bucasi and decided that considering the design, quartz movement (no more winding), substantially discounted price, the reviews, and outside research it was certainly worth a try.The Bucasi, upon delivery, was packaged in a beautiful jewelry case that was a collector's item in itself. The design was extremely tasteful. The clap open/close was faultless. The dial, including time and calendar, was easily read. After some rugged use over time, the Bucasi more than met my expectations for a pocket watch at 3x -4x the price. It was easy to read and keeps perfect time; neither gaining or losing a second. The only disappointment was not a surprise; I knew the watch was smaller and lacked the heft of my 1944 model. I could not be more pleased. It would make a wonderful gift for any occasion and combines quality, performance, function and appearance with a value.

Not worth the price!!!!
First the pro's.....Very nice detail on the watch case, keeps accurate time, watch chain is sufficient for a pocket watch. Now the con's....Very cheaply made & not worth what I paid for it. Dissapointed in the size...case measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter and watch dial measures 1 1/4 inches. The watch is not water resistant. Much smaller than what I had hoped for.And now for what they DON'T tell you about the warranty......Warranty does not cover finish to case, nor does it cover the watch crown & stem, or chain or cheap "plastic" cyrstal. In short the warranty only covers the movement.Hope this review heps someone in their decision.......unlike other usless reviews that simply say "it's purdy"

One of my better watches for every day use
I like the Day and date function. So many watches don't have the day and date as this one does. The watch is a little smaller at 40mm and fits nicely in a jean watch pocket. The white dial is easy to read with black numerals. When it's time for a battery the back easily pops off for do-it-yourself battery replacement. The case is stamped with nice impressions rather than a smooth finish so pocket wear doesn't show up on the case. All in all it's a nice functioning every day pocket watch that is easily serviceable.

easy to read
This is a good-looking watch but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. The watch chain came off as I was taking the watch out of the original wrapping. I don't mean just the chain, but the large metal link which attaches the chain to the top of the watch. I put it back in place and gave the watch to my husband, thinking that it had just not been put fully in place by the manufacturer, but it kept falling off. We finally had to return the watch (which I must say was no problem). It's a shame too because, the watch is good-looking, easy to read, and a good price. We were just too afraid we'd lose it.I gave 2 stars, instead of one because the sellers were really good about accepting the watch back and refunding quickly, no questions, no hassles.

Very good for price
It was smaller than expected, but keeps great time! It has large numbers for easy reading. Overall quality is why I gave it four stars!

So far I love thiswatch
So far I love this watch. It will be interesting to see how reliable it will be further down the road after I've had it for a while (Just received it recently). Easy to read numbers on the dial. Hate wrist watches, they create a really lame tan line and pinch your skin and hair on the arm. Plus wrist watches tempt one into looking at the time much too frequently and one gets constantly bombarded with requests for the time. Like the fact is has a cover so the face is protected.

The idea of a pocket watch is to be able to pull it out of a pocket.
h looks nice, and keeps good time, but the bale (the part that connects watch to chain) is weak. The third or fourth time I pulled the watch out the bale bent and came off. This part needs to be stronger.

Looks nice
Looks very nice, Love the large numbers which makes it easy to read for someone with sight problems. It was purchased for a gift to be given in the future so time will tell......

Se averió inmediatamente
Unos días después de que se cerrara la ventana de devolución el reloj dejó de funcionar. El relojero me dijo que la reparación costaría $550 MXN pues el problema no era la batería sino el mecanismo. No lo recomiendo para nada.
