Love it!
To start, I have never had gel nails before. I don't go to the salon to have my nails done, ever. But I have been wanting to try gel nails for awhile, salons charge $30+ for gel nails. I figured that if I could paint my own nails I should be able to do gels at home as well. Found this kit and for multiple applications for the price of one salon visit,I decided to get it. If I like it then I can do my nails multiple times and not have to worry about making appointments and spending more money.I love this kit!!! I will say that directions do not come with it and for a first time gel lamp user, that was frustrating. Thankfully I was able to pull up my order and directions were listed on here. It was still a little confusing for times because the lamp is led/UV and so is the polish but the time under the lamp is different depending on what type it is. I decided to just use the longest time possible🤷The base coat stays a little tacky. I applied two coats of the polish (all coats cured in-between for 90 seconds. I did the base coat twice I think, cannot remember. The polish did stay a little tacky but that was fixed with the top coat application. The kit provided wipes which I'm not sure why they are needed but I did use them after I applied my top coat. My nails cured nicely! I applied thinish coats as well. For my pictures, it's the kit (not everything is in the pic), one hand immediately after application, both hands two days later, then two days later and then again two days later. My left hand has almost no chips and my right hand does. I am right handed though and my natural nails aren't long so it was difficult to cap the tips with my non-dominant hand.I am super happy with this purchase and so excited to do more! I definitely recommend. If you can paint your nails, you can gel them too!I haven't removed them yet but I plan to file off the top coat and then soak in acetone and scrap off with the cuticle tool. Oh, and the cuticle oil that came with the kit does leak a little so that sucks, but I'm not that bent out of shape over it.

I did it myself, saving $$$$$
First of all I've been watching nails being done for over 20 years as a customer. With all of the shops closed I decided I could remove my acrylic nails and start doing my own gel polish. So I started with this set. It has everything you need to get started. I would add purchasing cotton balls and good acetone.Learning as I go along.Start out with a good manicure.Clean nails and all residue after manicure. Start out with base coat and cure. Now I will say this 24 watt machine works but slow to cure so I will be getting one with a much higher wattage. So be patient.Next the color gel you like, take your time dont get it on skin or cuticles if you do , then clean it off.place hand in curing machine, set at 90 auto and I have found 3 times at 90 seconds works. DONT touch your nails. I did not do a second color coat only because I just wanted a natural look. So do a 2nd coat if you wish repeating the curing.Next top coat.Once your cured the nail THEN wipe with alcohol wipe. It should be shiny and cured.NOW HERE'S THE LEARNING CURVE FOR REMOVALHere is where you learn by experience. It's important to file shiny surface of the old gel before trying to remove it. Saturate balls with acetone adhere the balls on finger nails by wrapping wit foil. BE PATIENT! Leave this on nails for at least 20 minutes. Using the tool that came with the kit gently scrape off the old gel. It takes time so be patient. Massage the rose oil that came with the kit into your cuticles. There are pictures on the web that can help. Just google your question and something will pop up to give you help. Good luck!

Great product at a great price
I am pleased with and would recommend the product. It will take me a little time to learn to not put the nail polish on too thick, & not to get it on my cuticles, but even with my first attempt at it I am very impressed that 14 days later nothing had chipped, only grown out or peeled a bit at the bottom (which my getting it on my cuticles probably made worse). The picture that’s a bit darker was 3 days after I printed them; nails perfect at that point. The other picture is 8 days after I painted them & after washing my hands a zillion times that day at my healthcare job. I love the gray color I tried & the extensive stuff in the kit is awesome. I think the product is a great value for the money. Removal is the same level of difficulty as for all true gel polishes; wearing acetone-soaked cotton balls wrapped in foil for 10 minutes & then scraping polish off with a manicure stick worked fine with no unusual damage to nails. One suggestion I would make is to include instructions in the kit for how to use it, & to indicate what color the polish is in each bottle.

Plug in broke, disappointed
I was really excited to get this led lamp in this kit. It was easy to use, had auto on and off when you slid your hand in. I only used it a couple of times and when I unplugged it last night, part of the plug stuck in the socket! We had to turn off the breaker to safely remove it. No way to repair it, so now I'm out a lamp. Very disappointed.

Awesome and Easy to Use
I was a bit nervous to try doing gel polish on myself, I followed the directions and it came out perfect! I cured my top coat 2x for 90 seconds. I had to remove my acrylic nails because my nail salon is closed due to Covid-19. I wanted something that would protect my nails and make them feel stronger. I am loving the colours!

Machine is Good, Colours are Not
The UV/LED light works well - I doubled the 90 second time to make sure everything adhered. The colours that were sent were, well, awful. Nothing like what I had asked for and judging by other reviews it seems like this is a common issue. That being said, I am very happy with the light itself so I would suggest to buy it separately.
