We ended up donating this set and replaced with something better for our camper.

Very pretty plates. Reasonable price. Just be careful, they can break. They are not shatterproof.I love them for outdoor entertaining.

TL:DR? This is a good set of plastic dishes great for picnics, RVs, camping, and travel…plus little ones can now dine on something fancy too!The Mold:This comes in a set of 4 bowls, salad (medium) plates, and dinner (large) plates. The plates feature a blue “swirl” design and have raised decals along the edges. The inside of the bowls is completely white as well as the bottom of both them and plates. Brand and care information are molded onto the bottom, so there’s no fear of that information being scrubbed away. These are top rack dishwasher safe but are NOT microwave safe. They are sturdy and do not bend when in use.The Hold:This is a really nice set of plastic plates (melamine) that looks very “real” and ceramic like. It isn’t until you pick it up that you realize they aren’t and they wash up super easy. I love the touch a nautical theme (my home is shares nautical decor) and as plastic, they are great for kiddos or taking on a picnic and still feeling super fancy. They also work great in an RV, so you don’t have to sacrifice class and comfort for practicality. Plus, being re-washable, you won’t leave a wake of liter or trash behind you (less landfill). These’s aren’t microwave safe (which is a bit of a given) but you can wash them in a dishwasher which makes clean up even easier. However, do to the large plate size, it might be hard to fit on the top rack and you may have to end up washing it by hand. Just a forewarning. Comes with all you need for a set of 4.+Pros:+Ceramic look+Subtle nautical design (works with other color/themes too)+Durable plastic (melamine)+Set of 4 medium plates, large plates, and bowls+Top rack dishwasher safe+Kiddo/camping/picnicking/RV friendly+Washes well-Cons:-Bowls are just plain white on the inside (looks very blank like something’s missing)-Not microwave safe-Larger plates may not fit on the top rack of the dishwasher (might be hand wash only for you depending on the size/type of your dishwasher)Overall, I really like this set of plates, though I do sorely wish the bowls had some sort of print in the inside as they look a little plain (like something vital’s missing). 4.4 out of 5 stars (rounded to the nearest star).

I have an older melamine dish set that I have always loved (different brand) and I had been looking to get a new set to mix in so we could have more for when we entertain.This set it so much prettier than my old set! I love the simple design. Since my household contains a few clutzy members, we struggle to keep breakable dishes around. A few pieces from this set have already been dropped on our tile floors and they’ve held up wonderfully. They also did well in the dishwasher, as advertised.I did take a star off though because these feel/look thinner, and thus feel cheaper than the other brand I have. This isn’t a huge deal, but it does make them look and feel more like a hybrid of sturdier plastic disposable plates and melamine. I included a few pictures to try to illustrate what I mean. I much prefer a sturdier feel and it’s what I’ve been used to when dealing with melamine dishes.The positive of these plates having a thinner profile overall is that they stack shorter in the cupboard (as illustrated in one of my pictures). They also fit better in the cabinet as the diameter is slightly smaller than my old plates (see pics)Pros-pretty and sturdy-smaller cabinet footprint than other plates (smaller diameter)Cons-feel cheaper and lighter than other melamine brands

At first I wasn't sure what to think of this set. It just wasn't my favorite set of dishes. Then when I started realizing all the less conventional ways one could use this set, I started to like it a lot more.As my every-day dishes, I wasn't crazy about them. But then, my kids are older so I don't need unbreakable dishes. And the color/design just wasn't quite right for me. I thought I'd love the design, but in person I wasn't as crazy about them.Then we had a big get-together where everyone was eating outside on the patio and deck. We had the area all decorated up and we were grilling food. These dishes were perfect for this! The bold colors and designs, combined with the strong melamine material made these outstanding dishes for serving outdoors.As indoor, every-day dishes they weren't right for me. But as outdoor entertaining dishes, they're awesome!

This Melamine Dinnerware set is really awesome!In general I'm really impressed with this set but I do feel that they are a couple of things missing !So anyway here's my list to simply everything down.Pros:- These plates look like regular plates until you pick them up and see that they are plastic.- Easy to clean compared to regular plates- These plates won't crack or chip easily- Very durable and great for kids- In general, I really enjoy the desginNegatives:- The bowls have a empty desgin, which I dont like- Non-MicrowavableFinal Thoughts?These plates may scratch with heavy use, however that is just an assumption because that issue has not occurred yet.Final Decsion?Yes I'd reccomend them, if your looking for these types of plates, this is a good desgin !Anyway thanks for reading! Disliked the plastic-like feel and most all they were not microwave useable.Not a family dinner dish set … more for camping.These are the main reasons I returned the dishes.
