At what price comes marital harmony?
I have mixed feelings about this pillow. Mainly; the price. It just seems so freaking high for a piece of memory foam. But, then I have to look at the benefit; it definitely helped with my snoring. Apparently it was pretty bad. I had taken to sleeping in my son's room on a mattress on the floor so that my hard-working hubby could get some sleep. I was really tired every day and feeling generally poorly. I could tell that it was disrupting my sleep, because sometimes it would even wake ME up. It felt a little like I would stop breathing just for a second. I know some will say that's apnea but I think it is more like, pre-apnea. I'm not a doctor, and I don't play one on TV.My snoring is not generated in my nose but down in my soft palate. If my head and neck are in the wrong position, it's almost as if my glottal stop closes up and obstructs air from entering or escaping. Another reviewer described some "lip puffing", and that's exactly it. Imagine drawing up a big breath and then holding it as if you were underwater.....that's the body mechanism. I'm not sure if this sounds like gibberish, but if you have this kind of snoring it will seem familiar to you (hopefully). This pillow is very firm. The first night it was a little uncomfortable. But when I asked hubby for a report the next morning, he said he hadn't heard anything from me. I then became hopeful that this pillow might work. The second night, it was more comfortable. I became more used to being "forced" to sleep on one side or the other, and I found that if I worked the ridge right up under my neck a certain way, it felt better. The third night (last night) I slept great. Didn't even feel like I was using a new kind of pillow. Again, no report of snoring. At one point during the night I woke myself up with the glottal-stop-closed-up feeling, and I found that I had worked myself onto my back. I readjusted the pillow and myself, and fell right back to sleep. I feel great today. I feel better than I have in a long time; I popped right out of bed ready to take on the day.I don't think any product is a miracle for snorers, as you can surmise by the plethora of snoring "cures" here on Amazon and elsewhere. And it really depends on what's making you snore; deviated septum, being overweight, whatever. This pillow seems to be working for me, and it's non-invasive, not chemical, and it doesn't make you look like Hannibal Lector in bed. My only reason for the dinged star is that, for $33.00, it's a little expensive. Now of course, that is countered by how long it keeps its shape and firmness. If it's $33.00 every 6 months, it's totally worth it. You can't really put a price on being able to sleep next to your beloved, but if I had to, it would be around $66 a year. *winks*

It was great... for a while...
When I first got the pillow, I hated it. It was too light, too firm, and too different. But after a couple of nights, of forcing myself to sleep on it, I really started to love it. The half-circle shape of the bottom of it is AWESOME! It cradles your head in such a way that it really helps support your neck, and was very comfortable to sleep on either my back or side.At first, I hated how firm the pillow was, but once I got used to it, now I hate soft, squishy pillows, that don't give any support. The only thing I didn't like about the pillow is the raised part at the top. I wish it were more like a wedge, to really tilt the head back, and keep the airways more open.Honestly, I have no idea if it helped my snoring any. (I normally sleep alone, and only bought the pillow because a friend of mine was staying with me and complained of my snoring.)I really did like this pillow, and miss using it. Unfortunately, after only about 3-4 months of use, it is squished down, flatter than a pancake. I don't know what happened! It's not like I was driving over it with a truck or anything. So I probably won't buy this particular pillow again, since I can't afford to replace my pillow every 2 months, but I sure do miss it.

Worked for me!
I read the reviews and was skeptical, but figured I'd give it a try. My spouse was complaining about my snoring. I have used it for 2 nights now, and it has made a big difference from the very first night. My snoring has greatly reduced and doesn't even both my spouse now. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because I can tell by the material that it will probably not last as some of the other reviewers said. I read the reviews about it getting flat in a short period of time. It is made of a firm foam type material. Right now, it is working great and I hope it is not the case. I will update my review later if it does. The feel of the pillow is different. It takes an adjustment. It is very firm, but I know my normal soft pillows were not giving me the support I need. Some of the other reviews mentioned the size, but it is a normal size pillow in my opinion. I'm glad I gave it a try. If It continues to help with my snoring, as it has done so far, it is well worth the money. Also, by not snoring so much, I do feel a more rested.

good for the most eyes, not a cure
So I'm giving this a three because it's not a one but it's definitely not a five. For the first week I was not woken up by my partner snoring at all. I believe after time his body or head got used to the pillow and I'm talking about three weeks later and the snoring has started again. I have to admit the snoring is not as loud and if I tug on the pillow and adjust his head it stops LOL. there are other products out there that are three times the amount of this price and I wasn't willing to risk it so I do feel like I got my moneys worth.. three month follow up, stopped working entirely
