I adore my teapot. Not only is it lovely to look at ( I really like the baby pink color and scalloped shape) but it is so easy to use. I like to use loose leaf tea as well as bagged tea and this pot is perfect for both. The stainless steal basket has tiny holes so no tea leaves creep into the pot or my cup. The basket has a small opening at the top to easily place the teapot lid on as the tea steeps, so I can brew the tea to my exact preference and lift the basket out with the lid and not burn my fingers.

When I order this is said it was purple. When I got it was a grayish purple, which was absolutely perfect to go with my china tea set. I was thrilled. I tested to see how long this little pot would hold the hot tea, hot.. was up to 25 minutes, and still drinkable hot. by then the tea was all gone. This help up to 6 of my tea cups of tea which holds half a cup, or 4 oz of tea. Love the nice stainless steel infusion basket. It has a little notch in it that you hook the tea pot lid into and it holds the lid on nicely and the notch makes a good handle to take the infusion basket out. The infuser has tiny wholes for your loose leaf tea and no leaves in your cup. The gold on the tea pot was nice and bright and went well with my gold on my china.

Arrived well packaged and I think it's nicer in person than the on-site or even my photo. It is medium size and has a high quality, fitted infusion cup. It's a little tricky getting the infuser out after brewing if the lid used, but it's not a deal breaker. The pot is more of an ivory color and the gold tip makes it a little "dressy." Used this teapot several times and still like everything about it. I do recommend.

Last night we made our first pot of tea. Somehow it seems more civilized to pour the tea vs making it by the cup! We enjoyed the size and shape of the teapot as well as the beautiful rosy pink color!

It looks good and cute, but less than 2 months and started to crack.

So pretty. I use this for tea and coffee. Great buy!
