240 grit great for getting deep scratches out of older chisels & plane blades, before polishing.
This 240 grit diamond sharpening plate is great for taking down badly scratched blades, & chisels before using finer stones to polish them up. I attached mine to flat surface to ensure it didn't bend.

Bit small for plane blades but can be done with care, well worth the money.
