SITS - Dual Locking Suction Handle

My 12 yo daughter has health issues & as we live in an apartment we don't have permanent handles for the disabled, so this is a great option for her to have a grab handle incase she is feeling faint in the shower. She also uses it to hang her flannel. Once a week when I clean her shower I remove the handle & reattach it, as they can dry out & lose their grip over time.

Ehrlich gesagt halten die Teile kaum was aus. Und unbedingt brauchen tut man sie dann auch nicht. Ist eher als Hilfestellung für Ältere gedacht

Dank der zwei Saugnäpfe hält der Griff auf Badfliesen wirklich sehr gut und rutscht auch nicht weg. Er lässt sich super leicht befestigen und wieder abnehmen.Dafür gibt es eine absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir!

Einfach zu befestigen, hält aber keine Belastung aus. Stellt man z.B. den Fuß nur ganz leicht darauf ab, löst sich der Saugnapf wieder und der ganze Griff knallt in die Dusche.

I bought this item primarily for a grab bar while shaving in the shower and with hopes that occasionally it would get some auxiliary use too. It comes in and is well made and has what seems like a more than adequately sized suction cup. After attaching it to the wall, I grabbed on to it and it immediately slid down. I then went on a scrubbing frenzy thinking it must just be that the wall is slick, still no change. I called the 1-800 number and they stated it must be I have porous tiles on my wall, but I explained that I have marble tile, not even remotely porous. They recommended that I use an abrasive material like sand paper to roughen the tile and that is where I drew the line. They would not refund the order, but Amazon stepped in and helped out. Great concept, but if you get it, be prepared to use industrial epoxy to keep it in its place.

We had fun plans for this item but were disappointed to learn that this only works on completely smooth tile. We figured out ours has an uneven surface (the best way to describe it is slightly dimply) so it won't maintain suction. Make sure to double check the surface you plan to use it on before you purchase. If it is perfectly flat and smooth like a sheet of glass you're in business. If not, search for another solution.

I just had a total knee replacement of my left knee and rather than permanently mount grab rail in the shower while I recovered, I chose this one and 2 others (different brand). This one stays put!! I'm 225lbs and could pull on this with my full weight and it holds. It's a little difficult to move but if you completely unlatch the suction lever and use a fingernail to lift the rubber pad, it will come loose. A small price to pay for it doing it's job so well. Excellent product.

They don't hold on to the walls of any shower I have ever had. I would recommend staying far away from these for any use that you might be consider using them for as they do not reliably stick. Especially do not use them for supporting yourself for fun shower activities. You will end up hurt and maybe in a hospital depending on where you are in the fiasco.

As far as it working I must say that it is great.However, the gray parts of the product are not gray. They are a sickly green. Almost as if the gray turned due to a bad production process. I have the feeling that these are knock-offs of the original - which is pictured.But, they work. It makes getting out of a deep tub much easier.

Very convenient for short ladies with tall guys that like some shower fun together. Just saying.

The suction handle seems to be stuck like a limpet to my shower wall despite the two ends of the suction pads impinging upon grout joints in my 4x4 tile. I feel confident about using it to help myself in and out of the tub after knee surgery. My husband was quite delighted by the box, which I left out for him as a surprise. It's functional and entertaining - as long as there are no small children or maiden aunts in the house to shock.

The product does work. It provides a hold for my 88 year old dad to keep his balance. However the flexible rubber that forms the suction cup is rather thin, and so does not conform to any irregularities on the shower inset surface as well as a similar product that has a thicker and more pliable rubber seal. It will support some weight but will come off with about 25 lbs. of pull. This is still OK to balance yourself, but it is not as good as a handle bar. We did of course clean the bath first, but even then you must be cautious when using it.

I purchased this for a family member who has trouble entering & exiting the shower. He said he's really happy with it. Installation was really easy. The packaging quite explicitly showed a couple using it to make love in the shower, so keep that in mind when opening your mail.
