The Bible: Genesis, Exodus, The Song of Solomon

It's small!! And so beautiful visually that I almost cried. If you like or love Chagall's work you will love it too. It's interesting that Chagall chose the three Bible books that he did. Not sure why. Love it!

Beautiful book that highlights many of the works that are exhibited at the Chagall Museum in Nice. It also includes the complete English translation of these three Biblical books.

The book is small but makes it easy to travel with

I'm not well qualified to critique the word of God so I'll limit my comments to the illustrations. Many of the illustrations are small segments cut out of larger works of art. It is difficult to appreciate the wonderful paintings of Chagall when you only see 5% of a painting. Otherwise this is a beautiful little book.

Beautiful book. How could it not be beautiful if it's Chagall? I'd love it if it were larger, but gorgeous as it is.
