Dock Edge + Boat Fender Line Holder with Adjuster

Bought this, but didn't deploy it for several weeks.Looks just like the real thing, NHM brand I understand.I was just about/almost to order a bunch more of these, but I decided to read the reviews just for the heck of it. Sobered, I subsequently tried this one out and discovered that despite the quality look to the components, its performance was sketchy. Most of all, I found it a genuine struggle to open and close the snap fitting. I've had this type of fender hanger years ago and they worked great. If you have a situation on the boat and need some cushioning in a hurry, you don't need the delay of wrestling with the snap fitting on your fender holder. I tested this item once and that was it, I'll pay more for the real deal.Too bad......the item looks like a million bucks.

This product sold by Amazon is an inferior replica of the original fender holder made and patented (PAT. 248367) by NHS Marine Co. INC. . The stainless steel in the NHS bracket is twice as thick as the no-name stamped brand sold by Amazon. In addition the snap in the NHS bracket which locks the fender strap to a boat rail uses a well known brand called "Lift-A-Dot" which is very durable. The snap on the fender holder sold by Amazon is significantly thinner and has no brand stamped on it; this unit doesn't compare to the NHS model and cost is about the same. The fender holder sold by Amazon lasted only one time with the snap breaking apart upon removal from my boat rail. Part of this snap fell in the ocean. I willing be calling Amazon for a refund.

Just recently installed this line holder and it will not connect together. Not a good design. Will never buy off brand again, will stick to Taylor Made Product. Unfortunately I have missed the window for a return.

These made putting on and taking down bumpers a real breeze! Adjusting height of bumper really easy as well.I was worried that because it’s a bit bulky it wouldn’t fit the pre cut design of the Mooring covers but it did for the most part, a little snug in some areas but nothing that we couldn’t work around.

Bought three for my boat, one of them broke the first day. There’s a small clip and the back of it broke off, so can’t snap back together. The other two are ok but only used boat a few times since the purchase and now boat is stored for the winter. Disappointed how quickly it broke, maybe just one bad one in the bunch?

This product connects easily and allows any adjustment for docks, wavy conditions or other boaters tying to our boat. protects the boat well.
