Great cleaner and polish for guitar!
In my search for a good guitar polish that didn't have silicone in it, I came across Virtuoso Premium Instrument Polish & Cleaner Combo. After all the positive reviews this product was getting I decided to try some. The Virtuoso cleaner and polish combo does not have the terrible stuff called "Silicone" in it, so that was a plus right off. You start off with the cleaner, and following the normal application process the cleaner will remove all dirt and grime and foreign substances quite well. The cleaner works so well and puts such a nice shine on your guitar that you could easily stop right there and be happy. But use the polish! and you will be rewarded with a very nice luster, your guitars natural beauty will pop out, the guitar will look like it was meant to look. Anything worth while usually doesn't come easy, so to do a proper job you will have to use some elbow grease. But that is what it takes sometimes to remove all the other silicone based polishes your guitar probably has on it, because almost all guitar polishes have silicone in them. Silicone is terrible for a guitar, do some research and find out why. In a nutshell, Virtuoso cleaner and polish combo is in my opinion the best product out there for restoring your guitars natural beauty. It works great on all finishes. Thanks

Works on nitrocellulose finishes
Bought this because it claimed to remove stains and minor scratches from nitrocellulose laquer. I used it on my 30 year old Les Paul Classic Plus with heritage cherry sunburst finish. I can happily say that it works as advertised. The cleaner removed stains that nothing else would and also removed almost all scratches. The polish then shined it up until it looked showroom new. Pricey but does work. Highly recommend.

Seems To Be Worthy of the Hype
I got the polish & cleaner combo, but have so far only used the cleaner. Virtuoso has been on the radar for a while, but I finally pulled the trigger in a last ditch effort to deal with some spots in the nitro finish on my daughter's Gibson L-00. I have no idea what caused them, but at some point a mist of water, or hair product, or whatever got on the thing and probably sat for a while. Nothing so much as made a dent in reducing them. Lizard Spit, a host of Music Nomad offerings, and one or two other things - nothing worked. With very low expectations I gave the Virtuoso cleaner a shot. And with a little elbow grease and multiple applications I was astonished to see the offending droplets fade from view. Honestly, much of the additional muscle and need to go a few rounds is probably mostly due to the multiple layers of other gunk I laid on beforehand and not a critique of the cleaner under normal use situations. As an added bonus it's proven to be the best solution I've come across to address the chronic 'Sticky Neck Syndrome' some Gibson folks might be familiar with. The cleaner is truly remarkable stuff, which bodes well for the polish imo. Will try and remember to update after giving that a whirl. I'm kicking myself for not taking before and after photos...

High quality polish kit
Applied this kit to a Gibson Les Paul satin finish. Took a factory natural but flat appearance (which I found a bit too flat and dull) to a warm semi gloss / partially reflective finish. This, to me at least, offered a much warmer appearance accenting wood grain and highlighting contrast with stained and transitional (two tone) front body surface areas. Brought a brilliant luster to the natural mahogany back, sides and neck areas as well. And this kit serves as an excellent cleaner and protectant for all exterior wood surfaces as well. Subsequent (re)applications over time should and are expected to deepen guitar's semi-gloss appearance. So, if taking an okay but flat satin finish to semi gloss is desirable... then this kit is highly recommended.

Wow...wow!
I bought this combo set about a year ago and tried it once, really half-assed. I had minor results and thought it was crap. BUT, I just gave it another try on my rosewood/Adirondack Martin and oh my god does it work amazingly! I can't believe it... I have been trying to get a general sticky haze off of my finish for months now and nothing would actually clean it off. I realize now that the problem I had a year ago was I was lazy and only spent a few minutes trying. This time, I spent about 35 minutes total, applying and circle rubbing the cleaner on all the sides of my guitar, using some force with a soft washcloth. With about 10 minutes of circle buffing on each side the finish was better than new! THEN for about another 20 minutes I repeated with a new cloth and the polish...it is absolutely amazing how good my guitar looks now...better than it did brand new!!! It smells good, feels smooth, and I can't believe that the answer to getting my finish back to new has been sitting on my the shelf all this time. I honestly thought I needed a luthier with a buffing wheel...nope. This stuff is amazing. As loud as I can yell it, this stuff is amazing!

Good product pair.
This stuff works really well, I have used it on 3 different guitars and has definitely brought some glory back to all of them. Getting the cleaner with the polish really helps, it seems to be even gentler than murphys oil soap while still really stripping off some gunk. One really old guitar that I tried it on didn't shine up quite as well as the other 2 (one polyurethane one Nitro-cellulose finish), but I think it was more a function of a poor quality finish that was put on the guitar back in 1952 than a failure of the product. These are small bottles but still well worth it if you are serious about maintaining your instruments.
