Is It Symmetrical? (Little World Math) Paperback – August 1, 2010

It is a cute little book but can be confusing to kids that are looking at the literal pictures on the pages. The explanation itself is wonderful but then the pictures can cause a bit of confusion when using objects from the real world that are not normally symmetrical.

THis book contains real pictures with dotted lines of symmetry added to everyday objects. Simple text explains a hard concept easy for preschoolers and Kindergarteners to understand.

This book is great for the Pre-K/K level when teaching about symmetry. Great pictures and text. Go for it! This book is a great addition to a lesson.
