BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Cordless Sweeper with Power Boost, Leaf Blower with Battery and Charger (LSW321)

Got this as a 'used good condition' for less than 1/2 the regular price. What a deal ! Description said like new so I took a chance since it was returnable. Item received was indeed like new. Looked like it had never been opened or used. Only the box was a bit beaten up with old stickers on etc. Perfect for what I wanted it for - a low priced unit to use as a sweeper, not a full yard blower. As some other have said its not that powerful. Better for small spaces. I tried blowing leaves in the (5mph) breeze today and its not great. But I only wanted it for blowing dry leaves and dirt out of my garage and from a small area on the front driveway. Its perfect for that. If I need some heavy duty blowing I'll have to plug in my old school corded blower which can almost move furniture on the middle speed ! :) This one is light weight, portable, cordless and easy to use. Recommended for small/light duty blowing

I purchased this to use specifically for blowing off my patio. It works perfectly for that. I was Ted something with a rechargeable battery. I specifically ordered this one because I have a Black and Decker cordless rechargeable drill, and I thought that the battery would be interchangeable. However, even though the battery is the same voltage, B & D changed the specifications of the battery. While disappointed in that fact, the unit does still work for my purposes. It is very lightweight, which I love. the battery seems to last a long time so far. But, if I was actually using it to blow leaves, it would not be enough power. Works perfectly for my needs: Blowing off the patio, front porch, driveway, and garage. Blows trash/debris….not strong enough for a yard full of leaves.

After owning this sweeper for two years I decided to write my review. First of all this is NOT a heavy duty leaf blower. Rather it is a light weight sweeper you can use in place of a broom. I use it to clean out debris from my garage, clear off my driveway and my sidewalks. You can also use it to safely dry a car or blow debris from it without scratching it. It is very compact and lightweight. The battery lasts a long time. One common defect is the switch. After a while it jams and is hard to switch on. I simply spray some WD 40 on it and it is good to go. This sweeper has made my life easier and I use it all the time. Hope this helps.

Good for small tasks. If you are used to a gas blower or plug in electric, you'll be disappointed. Its like when you switch the hose on a vacuum cleaner from the sucking side to the blowing side.

This lightweight blower is ideal for small to medium clean-up tasks, such as blowing sawdust and chips out of your workshop, or or a light coating of leaves off your front sidewalk. I use it a lot for cleaning out leaves, dirt, etc. from the garage. I wouldn't recommend it for anything heavier -- if you wait too long and have a lot of leaves on your sidewalk, it could take a while. I was able to run a new battery for 28 minutes on a full charge, without using the "boost" feature. The primary drawback is that the charger provided with the blower is quite minimal (400mA), and it takes a LOONG time to recharge the battery - at least 5 hours. B&D does make a more powerful charger, and if you use this blower a lot, you might want to consider getting it. This will be especially true if you get the optional 4 AH battery. If you use Porter-Cable cordless tools, you can make a simple mod to this blower so it can take P-C batteries (see YouTube). You can also make a very simple mod to the B&D battery to fit into a P-C charger. Alas, you can't really use the B&D battery in P-C tools without major surgery, but who would want to, anyway? At any rate, it's a handy little tool to have around for quick and easy cleanup jobs.

The Leaf Blower I received is a piece of junk, low air volume, and on the 3rd use it did not work at all.

I have all B&D products, I was super curious to try this Blower/Sweeper because I wanted to get the ryobi also.. but i went with this to keep all my tools the same... I just love it.. surprised it came with its own battery an charger just like all my drills an impact from B&D.. I have a 100 feet driveway an 50 foot front yard with leaves everyday from the surrounding neighbour's tree. This product is amazing took away all them leaves like nothing and also it may be called a sweeper but i called it a blower cause once it's on an you hit the boost button at the top which adds more power to the kick.. battery is amazing when fully charge.. I just it a still have little juice left.. makes my life so much easier. I don't need to sweet with a brush or broom anymore.. will be getting one for my other properties !!! B&D never fails. Update: the power button will not slide up anymore, it stuck on off position - and the batteries for B&D springs are popped off so now I will be switching to a different brand of tools.. but B&D tools are well built an solid for all the rennovation I have done with them.

To be clear, I'm commenting on the manufacturer and not on Amazon. First, the price on this was a good deal. Second, the box had been opened and there were shipping labels indicating that it had been shipped around quite a bit. That would include China. If the web page would have stated that it was renewed or reconditioned I would have probably skipped the purchase. The condition of the box leads me to the belief that it was a prior return. I bought a black and decker 40V blower a few weeks ago that was clearly marketed as renewed. I took the chance due to a good price. It was DOA and would not charge. This was not user error, it flashed a warning light indicating a flawed battery. That said, I now have some apprehension on this one. BTW, I don't write negative reviews as a habit and seldom return anything unless its defective or misrepresented. I've had good experiences with Black and Decker through the years. I have a 20v string trimmer that is on year seven and several smaller 20V power tools. I charged this blower up and ran it about 1 minute last night. Time will tell. I'm mostly disappointed in the lack of transparency from Black and Decker. It should have minimally mentioned that it was an open box item in that it looked like it set off an alarm at an international airport.

It is great! Works the way I wanted and is light weight!

Excelente producto, llegó en perfecto estado el paquete y funciona correctamente, es muy funcional, la duración de la bateria es correcta ya que el uso de la sopladora no me toma ni 10 min, a veces hasta 5 por el tamaño de mi jardín, lo cual me permite hasta 6 usos antes de recargar.

Parfait pour les petits besoins rapide au lieu de passer le balais. Comme pour après la tonte de la pelouse par exemple. Petit bouton Boost pratique. Mais il ne faut pas s'attendre de souffler des feuilles humides avec ce modèle. Pratique d'avoir le même pile que la perceuse et le coupe bordure!

ademas de que tarda 4 a 6 hrs en cargarse, solo dura 20min o menos la bateria. ademas que no es un soplador de hojas ya que tiene una potencia de aire muy debil.

Lightweight and small. Airflow is not that strong, but still I’d rather use this battery sweeper than clean everything with a broom. There is a superwind button that I use frequently. I found another usage for it: after rain, it helps me eliminate water on my backyard rug; this, it dries up quickly!
