It's plastic
This isn't a shell.....this is plastic. You can even see the plastic edges sticking out. I never really looked closely, I just put them in my bead box. I am using them today for the first time. They are pretty....a good fake. But still a lie.

One was damaged
This is pretty, but one of the beads came damaged. The abalone part came off one side. Not sure if other beads will also do the same. Hopefully not.
