Very clear instructions and drawings. Pattern is in style with young girls’ fashions selling today! I used the pattern to teach my 12 year old granddaughter to make her first dress all by herself- from cutting out to hemming!

McCall's Pillowcase Dress Pattern: Buyer Beware! Dress B 10
I would have given this Mc Call's rating a zero if I could. It Shows a full 1 piece pillowcase dress but their is not one in the bag. I cut out the pieces the instruction said it was and when I got to looking at it . It wasn't that dress . It said it was but it is not. It was the one with the band. I look through the pattern again and it wasn't in there. I never been so disappointed in my life over a pattern. I had already cut the pattern pieces out that I was instructed too and it wouldn't work without the band. On the bottom of the pattern piece it said shorten or lengthen here but I had no idea what size a 10, 12, 14 year old girl is. I was making these for our shoeboxes to go over sea. Sad, Sad way to do business.

So disappointed
The pattern arrived quickly but the markings and notations were horrible! I have been sewing for 60 years and never ran across such problems. This was McCall's fault, not Amazon.

Too many size cut lines!
Too many cut lines to accommodate size and different view options. Once you cut a size, you can't use the pattern for a larger size later. Used the pattern for Operation Christmas Child sewing project for our church. I chose it for our project because of the positive reviews. It should have been easy, and mostly it was, but I didn't always find the instructions and markings to be clear. Fortunately most of the people participating were very experienced seamstresses and didn't hesitate to do it their own way.

Nice easy pattern, but the printing on the pattern is very faint.
